God and even the devil exist......inside everyones' mind. It can also be refered to as good and evil. Everyone struggles with this. It's easy to be bad. It's harder to be good. That is the basis of all religion. I, for one, have no problem with this. What I have a problem with is the existance of organized superstition and its' drive to relieve people of their hard earned cash just so that they can feel better about themselves. People do not need to be prodded with threats of "eternal damnation" or else. Since I was a young child, I figured out there was something bogus with the world of organized superstition. The main problem is that the leaders of organized superstion wield their power over people to increase their wealth and political gain. If the U.S. was really true to the constitutions edict of separation of church and state, they would take away the tax exempt status of religion.
Fux news for dumbfux! I havn't watched Fux news in years. This illustrates why. I also don't eat at McDonalds' because all their TV monitors are tuned to Fux news! This channel is for all those idiots who are on welfare, and drive a 20 year old beat up pick-up with a Romney for president bumper sticker on it. They just havn't a clue!!!
"China is right now (literally) knocking down mountains and building cities at a breakneck pace."
And, many of those "cities" are ghost towns with no residents. China is on the road to a huge recession or even a depression because of speculation and wild city building. Unfortunately it will also send shock waves throughout the western nations as well!
Did anyone notice in the article where it said the probe may have been close enough for the asteroid to alter its flight path? While this may sound amazing, I just hope the Chinese were smart enough to realize that the encounter would also change the orbit of the asteroid ever so slightly. I would suggest that we closely observe the orbit of Toutatis in the future to make sure this "ever so slight" orbital change doesn't aim it toward earths' big red bulls-eye on subsequent orbits. I also noticed other posts quickly pointing out the use of the words "reckless" and "disastrous" as being just the authors' NASA bias. I hope for their sake they're correct!
Hey Anonymous, in this age of cyberwarfare, do you really think that the governments and corporations don't know who you are? It would appear to me that they are just biding their time deciding which of you to "whack" next!!!
The answer is simple, tax all online gambling, U.S. sites or international. 50% of the take would stop most online gambling in the U.S. If you are so hooked on the gambling "bug", then you must go to a physical gambling site, either a casino or your local 7-Eleven for lotto tickets or other forms of gambling. This would at least make it harder for the average person to gamble the family into the poorhouse. When I say "50% of the take" I mean the profit of those running the online sites, not the winnings of the poor schmucks who still believe they have a chance in hell of making it big gambling. Sure, sure, I know, the a-holes running the gambling sites would just lower the "chances" of winning, but, this might just be a good wake-up-call to those who aren't quite totally hooked on gambling to curtail their interests. I myself have done a little gambling at casinos and the odd lottery ticket or "scratcher", but, it didn't take me long to realize the incredibly long odds of ever coming out ahead or even breaking even. My advice is; take your gambling money and go do something fun like parachute from a plane, or some similar adrenaline producing event where you actually do see a profit for your hard-earned money!
I've lived in Missouri all my life. For the last 30 or so years the Republicans have controlled the state congress. They've raised taxes on everything except for corporations, successful companies, and the rich. This is just another sad excuse by the pubs to raise taxes on someone or something other than their well-heeled masters. It's really disgusting that the pubs are using the senseless murder of children to raise another tax. But, when election time comes they will swear to god that they've never raised taxes!!!
This will never replace the bulimia bucket. When I'm in a restaurant (especially an all-you-can-eat buffet) and I'm stuffed to the gills, when the waitress comes around and asks me if there is anything else she/he can get for me, I say; "yes! a bulimia bucket and a clean plate please. This has the added benefit of clearing out the crowded tables near you so that you have more room to once again stuff your face!
Hey dude! I live in Missouri. Thats in the U.S. if you didn't know! Paris is just about 90 miles away. Also Versailles is only about 18 miles away from my home. Oh, and to add fuel to the fire, Cuba is about 60 miles away. So, the next time you start having a "giggle fit" about why we in the U.S. add France to Paris or Versailles, remember, even though these countries are, reasonably, the first location one would think of, they're not always the cities being talked about.
I'll tell you where they should start building geothermal plants and lots of them, Yellowstone! This is one of if not the largest supervolcano on earth. If we could start cooling down some of the huge magma lake below this pristine wilderness, maybe, just maybe, we could delay the inevetible eruption. In the process we may just be able to pospone a worldwide extinction event. That's extinction folks! I'm sure the conservation nazis would go nuts, but, we would be saving them too. Also, there is an awful lot of energy building up under Yellowstone. Enough, maybe, to power the entire U.S., Canada, and Mexico. OK, OK, so Old Faithful may not remain so faithful, but at least we will remain alive. To add some backround to my ravings, Yellowstone erupts on average every 600,000 years. It's been 640,000 years since its' last eruption! Just sayin'!!!
Years ago, New Zealand barred U.S. warships which may carry nuclear weapons from docking in their ports. As an American this kind of miffed me. Since without the U.S. they would now all be speaking Japanese. But now, to kotow to corporate bullies and arrest and charge some simple schumck who failed to deploy U.S. DIA level encryption on their wifi network and charge them with "piracy", is pure "wimp-assed" policy. Even though I disagreed with your nuclear weapons carrying warship policy, at least I had to admit it was your choice to make. This total worship of the mighty corporation inspired law is, to me, a total letdown of respect for the New Zealand government. And it makes me wonder; how much money was paid and to what governmental personelle, to get this law passed?
My question is; what affect did the expansion of the universe have on this "structure" over the 4 billion years that the light from them have been traveling to our little corner of the universe. It would seem to me that when that light originated the galaxys producing it should have been quite bit closer together. By my reconing, the distance between them would have been reduced by a factor of 4. Thus, the really would only span a distance equal to 5% of the width of the universe. Please, someone with more knowledge and expereince in the matters, tell me where my hypothesis is wrong.
When I started as a practicing Pharmacist in 1981, we had a pretty good health care system. Over the years I watched as the Insurance companies destroyed that system. They started by sqeezing the profit out of the health care providers, doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, etc. This started a viscious circle where, health care providers increased their charges to get the maximum profit out of their work. The health care insurance companies just increased their rates to compensate. Around and around we went, until we, as a nation, are paying an enormous amount of money for health care. In the 80s I voted for any candidate who was for nationalizing healthcare, even, if it meant I may have recieved a lower salery for my work. In the meantime, other, more sane countries decided that national health care systems were the best idea. These are the countries that, now, far exceed the U.S. in the quality of their systems. While the insurance companies started propaganda canpaigns to convince the population that nationalized healthcare systems were horrible! They said they had death panels. Sound familiar? While in the U.S. the only death panels were run by the insurance companies! I know that after all these years of health insurance company's propaganda that it may sound crazy, but, the only way the U.S. can get a hold on our health care costs is to nationalize the system. Get rid of health insurance and thier profit only motives. But, you say, wouldn't that make a government beauracracy that would form their own "death panels"? Just ask yourself this; would you rather have a cold, profit driven corporation deciding who lives and who dies without any way for the public to intervene, or, would you rather want a government agency, which, would be subject to the voting public in charge of our healthcare? In the 1980s we missed our chance. Now, it will be so much more difficult to rout the insurance companies from the decisions on "our" life or death. Obamacare's efforts didn't even dent the surface of the insurance companies hold on the American peoples' healthcare. But look at the argument it has caused. Any small threat to the health insurance gravy train like this is met with huge amounts of protest fueled by the industry. That should tell you something. The health insurance industry is driving this country down to the bottom. Whether you look at the poor health care we recieve or the enormous affect it is having on our economy. Something has to give! Think about it!!!
Better U.S., British, French, German, Italian, etc., etc., etc., Than Chinese! Remember, China is still a Communist dictatorship bent on world domination. When the shortsighted international corporations degrade the wages and buying power of the number one consumer nation in the world (U.S.), When U.S. consumers can no longer afford Chinese imports or any other imports we will see the Chinese industrial base implode. Guess who they will blame....us!!! Then the sh*t will hit the fan!
With all the back doors the Chinese install in the electronics sold in the U.S., would you really want those naked pics of your girlfriend being oogled by some middle-aged Chinese security agent pervert?
Rand Paul is the anitchrist. Just what does that make Ron? "Can you guess my name?"
Hey man! Whatcha drinkin' or smokin'? I want some of that. Have not had hullicinations since the 70's!!!!
Dried dung! It's scalable and very easy to distribute. Just wash your hands after collecting it!!! Try to plug your thumb drive into that assholes!!!!
Just remember to not put your iPhone in your pocket if you ever expect to father any children!!!

It was later revealed that this aircraft could only be piloted by Iranian monkeys who had recently been to space!

This is all part of Apple's plan to rescue their plunging stock prices!

Is this going to help me untangle my Christmas tree lights?
Well, I guess this means that the western worlds experiment in governance failed with the rise of the tea party and the hard-core right wingnuts!

Looks like a gigantic pig farm to me. Send in the CIA, but, make sure they take their hip length waders. It's probably going to be deep SH*T!!!
