The trend lately is for colleges to set a ridiculously high price, then give "everyone" a discount. They're taking as much as they can from everyone. In what other field do companies get away with that? What a scam.
Capitalism has failure built in. There is NO possible way for it to work, given human nature. The assumptions of capitalism are flawed.
Here is how it will fail.
Capitalism is implemented.
Everything looks good initially (success!!!)
Slowly over time, prices are increased (doesn't cover "basic" greed any more)
Costs slowly rise to cover shareholder value
The wealthy slowly figure out "why work", and begin rent seeking
The productive people are paid less for more labor
The whole thing starts spiraling out of control downward.
People start eating dog, because nobody is getting paid, there is no affordable food in stores etc.
Eventually an elite few have all of other people's money.
Yes, but it is a single welfare system. You don't need social security, food stamps, public housing, medicaid, pell grants, school lunch programs, etc etc etc etc etc. You only have the universal income department. One set of administrators. Overhead would be greatly reduced.
"The Panopticon is a type of institutional building designed by the English philosopher and social theorist Jeremy Bentham in the late 18th century. The concept of the design is to allow all (pan-) inmates of an institution to be observed (-opticon) by a single watchman without the inmates being able to tell whether or not they are being watched. Although it is physically impossible for the single watchman to observe all cells at once, the fact that the inmates cannot know when they are being watched means that all inmates must act as though they are watched at all times, effectively controlling their own behaviour constantly. You'd be hard pressed to find a plan for under $30 per month in the US.
If you need instructions on how to pronounce something you've named, you're doing it wrong. That's about as offensive as pronouncing GIF with a j.
Subaru's B-pillar has multiple layers of different types of steel. There are welds under welds, building up the pillar in a multi-step process. You can't just weld on top of it. https://www.planetsubaru.com/s... https://www.firehouse.com/resc...

An onion will last a very long time in the fridge if you only cut off what you need, leave the stem in tact, and wrap it in plastic.
Rephrasing the narrative to focus on ad buys is interesting, but the real effect is the troll accounts, which are all free.
