Modern politics is solely about control. Not progress, not âoemake America great againâ, but control. The nanny state is all around us, and weâ(TM)re so divided that weâ(TM)re more worried about âoedefeatingâ the âoeopponentâ than actually standing up for the founding philosophies of this nation (and just because a few of those philosophies might be problematic to todayâ(TM)s sensibilities, doesnâ(TM)t mean we should throw out *all* of them).

Vaccinations should be required for all who don't have a compelling medical reason not to receive one (and no, "I don't wanna because someone famous said they were bad" doesn't count, when the actual science supports vaccination).

Or perhaps if the cause of an outbreak can be narrowed down, if it turns out to be due to lack of herd immunity, then perhaps all those in the area who refused to vaccinate should be charged with bioterrorism?

This doesn't even really help with that, however. It's apparently not even been fully tested, as such "trivial" domains are stripped even when they're not in the canonical position within the URL. I read that someone tested a convoluted example of www.example.www.example.com being stripped to example.example.com which is just completely incorrect in every way.

  18. We're glad people are studying our teaser so closely. The fact people have noticed parts from different phone models is exactly right – they represent the jumble of parts (specs) that our competitors inelegantly cram into their phones, while the space in the middle outlining HTC's next phone represents 'a phone that is more than the sum of its specs.'

To be clear, none of the parts illustrated in the teaser came from the phone we're announcing May 23rd; people will have to tune in to htc.com that day to find out more

From the actual article, that Verge sponged from:

"The URL streamlining happens automatically when you use the Share menu in Chrome (but not Chrome Custom Tabs). You can copy to the clipboard or share directly to another app—no setup required. If you highlight the URL bar and select text manually, you can still get the full URL with all the junk at the end."
