    Interesting. In Firefox crtl+mouse wheel or ctrl++ to zoom text, as well as css image. Page zoom is different in IE7 (it has always zoomed an entire page, text and images).

    A few posts have said that a Judge will see this for what it is and let the kid off with warning - they weren't planning on distributing a pirate copy of the movie. BUT it shouldn't get that far. Regal's legal dept should see this for what it is and drop the charges, plain and simple.

    "Ignorance is not an excuse". Maybe in this case it is. If I follow this story and see that it is what I think it is and Regal continues then I have no choice but to not go to Regal again, ever. Actually, I go to other theaters in town now anyway.

    It doesn't matter if the door was unlocked, it's still considered theft. You can leave you keys in you car and the thief will still get charged with grand theft auto - though you insurance company might not cover it.

    Counter Strike is an online game. Valve is trying to more of a community out of CS. This is no different than the auction house in World of Warcraft - supply and demand. Blizzard regularly changes things in WOW with patches, this is what Valve wants to be.

    I'm not sure why The Independant is speaking for this web veteran. I'm not taken aback. I respect this move by Google. This seems like a perfectly legitimate way to defend their trademark.

    Sure, movies have gotten cheaper with the ads and product placement, right? Microsoft Money is a great program, with ads all over it. Quicken? Need a loan? It will cost the same but just have ads - which means higher profit.

    The real deal is to get into your IRA as early as possible - there are ways to do this before you are 18. If you're past 18, 3k per year, DO IT. I don't care about student loans, mortgages or car loans. FIND $3,000 any way you can and put it away now. If you're in the late 20's you need to figure something else out.

    The reason Game Cube suffered was because of it's non-dvd format. The reason Sega Dreamcast never took off is becuase the other two, with DVD capabilities, were on the horizon.

    I don't see MSN as an available pre-loaded option in Firefox. How do you like them apples, Google. When you load Google earth it asks if you want to set IE to search Google as default, it doesnt ask if you want to set it as MSN search. Please, Google, that's a bit lame.

    "meant for things like CAD or Render farms" - I know what you mean, but to be picky, these are not for render farms. They are for accurate and precise real-time rendering, the task of modeling and visualization, not the on the back-burner (no pun intended) rendering - which is what render farms do.

    I'm a HUGE fan of TiVo. I've defend it against the Myth fanboys. But now pricing doesn't matter. Over a 6 year period a new Tivo will cost WAY more than a Myth setup. Heck, it's even more than a Windows Media Center PC!! A Media Center PC will even do HD, now.

    ***Monthly fees are going up! I have a lifetime sub. I don't use Tivo's dial-up because my moden was dead, so my lifetime didnt pay for that service. Tivo doesnt support my software anymore. My lifetime sub is nothing more than program data. And I think they got a deal from me. Now they want $17 a MONTH!?

    That's exactly what's wrong with Apple. the drastic changes.
    That's also what's wrong with Microsoft, unwilling to make changes. Legacy support makes life hard for msoft.
