That's an interesting statement. I purchased the network adapter for my PS2 and in addition to an ethernet port it also has a 56k modem integrated. Also the front side of it has a header which is molded to fit into the end of an IDE hard disk.

While the line may appear to be fine at times, there is a difference between libel and a simple statement of fact. If you are ripped off by someone on ebay simply document it as much as is possible. Then condense this factual information into your feedback. When you use the feedback as a tool to make statements about someone that are not provable or are a personal attack then you are veering into the area of libel or slander.

Not that I particularly liked the review, but people have been using the built in ethernet to play a number of multiplayer xbox games online for quite some time now using things like the gamespy tunnel. Please note that these are non Live enabled games and this has been done long before the Live service was even in beta.

I have the Live service and where I do tend to disagree with a great many things that MS has done and continues to do, I do agree with this. Any device that modifies the XBox, such as a modchip could also likely be used to load modified code that would and will most assuredly be used by pinhead assholes to cheat. Having seen this type of cheating on the PS2 with certain online games, and also with just about every online PC game I have no sympathy for the people who do this and get banned.
