- The online support is poor. There is nothing at the logitech web site. I was looking for an online (or downloadable) manual of some sort. There is none.
In 1998, I started toward a MCSE, doing self study. I took a couple of tests, passed, and lost interest. I was working in jobs where the cert didn't matter.
In 2000, I went to a "boot camp" and completed the MCSE. I put it on a resume on Monster and Dice, and within three days, I had a job that paid twice what I had been making.
My new employers said that the cert was not required or needed. But the recruiter would have never looked at my resume without the cert, I would never have gotten the interview.
Are certs BS? Sure.
Was it worth it for me? Absolutly. It paid for itself quickly. I would do it again, if it mattered.
I guess they just want you to buy a sport case or an armband too...
They do.
When I ordered a 512 MB iPod Shuffle this morning, the sales rep was really pushing the accessories (armband, sports case, charger and dock) as well as extended service. She advised me that it is $100 to replace the battery, so the service plan was a "good deal". I told her I would just live dangerously, and passed on her "good deal".
Wake up yourself, Noovi! Ogg Vorbis is not a driving factor in the marketplace. Size, capacity, industrial design and user interface are the driving factors.
The portable digital player manufacters are not going to spend extra engineering resources in silicon, firmware design and testing for a feature that will not add the addtional sales to justify those resources.
Nearly six years. Wow. That kind of experience is clear eveidence of how safe you are at fast speeds.

Applying Newtownian physics is not the only model for safe driving. A Cadillac weighing 4000 pounds travelling on a highway at 50 mph may have the same potential energy of a 2000 pound Mini travelling at 100 mph. Which is safer?
Let's be a little more realistic... the Caddy is going at 64 mph, along with traffic, and the Cooper is driving at an agressive 84. Whoops, around the corner, traffic is at a dead stop. Assuming each driver has the same skills and reaction times, which car is going to be more likely to avoid ramming the car ahead of them?
I read the headline and got excited. I read the article and was disappointed.
The added bluetooth functionality is ONLY good for using this device with a phone. As cool as this is, this is not what I have been waiting for. I want to hide my MP3 player in my pocket, and listen without wires.
OPTOUT of Windows 10.
She would spin off California and Florida as independent countries, and merge the rest of the US with Canada.
An older Jabba the Hutt?
True only if it is wearing an "N" on it's tail. I'll bet United Space Alliance could buy a an "X3" number pretty cheap.
"Thiruvananthapuram, we are having a problem!"

Stan: You can't just come to a Civil War reenactment dressed up like General Lee, fatass!
Cartman: Oh, really? I'm pretty sure I just did.
You could buy the ZX-80 as a kit or fully assembled.
Remember when Orson Wells was hawking Paul Masson wine in the 1970's? "We will sell no wine before its time."
While I may be anxious for software to "go gold", there is a reason why there is a wait - it's not ready.
It may still be crap when it is eventually released, but at least its not as crappy as it would have been had it been shipped early.
Since when is a request for an interview a "job offer"?

I just got the player
...you can always go to Fry's. They treat 100% of their customers like crap.
No OGG support. Again. Fuck it. Wake up Creative!

A high pixel count is great, but if you want a good picture, you need good optics.
It is a neat read because I don't work at Intel anymore.
...but after a few paragraphs I couldn't stop thinking about the most important Gilligan's Island question: Ginger or Mary Ann?

Portland is also home of:
Otto's Sausage Kitchen & Meat Market. (Not to be missed!)
I hope that my point survived my bad math.

Online banking is a "feature" that I could subscribe to, but it is one that I have opted out of.
My bank charges US $5 per month for this service.
Most of my bills can be paid online via VISA / MC. I choose that route.
Does the machine still ask what language you want to use?
I have never understood why a bit is not set in the magnetic strip for language preference. (At least for US ATMs)
