As an American, while I do not disagree with your assertion that what America used to be (land of the free, liberty, limited government) is no more, I would like to know which countries DO respect the rights Americans used to enjoy? Europe is hardly a libertarian dream-world, the mid east certainly is not, nor Asia, Africa, Latin America, pretty much all out. This is a global trend, its simply more noticable in the US because we've fallen so far. So to you I would say, yes, we need to wake up, and so does 94% of the world that hates us, maybe if they focused that energy on hating thier own oppressive puppet governments that hold hands with the "US Fascist Regieme" the world might be a better place to live.

No, but if there was an ad on television that told me that a state of emergency had been declared and that I had to go to 1012 Main Street for shelter in a large building and 1012 Main Street is a shopping mall and since theres a state of emergency right now and your not allowed to leave you might as well do some shopping while your here. The thing is is that the mall is the one who paid to have the ad aired in the first place to get people to come to the mall and see it's stores....thats more along the lines of "You have an unread message click here to read it" just blantently false advertising thats ment to sound official and trick people who don't know anybetter.

Go to a music store ya dummy. No not one that sells music, your looking for one that sells instriments because those music stores cater to the musicians themselves and not the audience. They usually have large racks of books containing music sheets and lyrics if they dont have the songbook you are looking for then they can order it with there next sipment of books. Tower records is by far the wrong place to look, then again a muscian whould know that.

Obviously, that will probably be running the game at its minimum detail but the success of Half-Life was never about the tech specs - it was about the fact that it's one of the best single-player FPS experiences released and the fact that modders loved it.

The sucess of Half-Life was about tech specs in the fact that people like me with my sorry assed Pentium II and ATI Rage Pro were able to run Half-Life in 800x600 resoulution but I havent been able to run any first person shooter since. This sounds nice because it will probly only cost me about 200 bucks to upgrade my system to minimum specs. I've been looking for an excuse to upgrade my system and I think I just found one :)
