How fast does the temperature drop at night.. Extrapolate from there. On the surface.. I'd give things about a week. The oceans a bit longer... Things freeze quick without any input of energy. Underground would be your only hope after that. You won't be around to find out though.
Really people, it IS a concern the WTC was built to withstand a 737. Hopefully the designers have learned from recent tragic events. I'm curious, how much destruction can this new wonder withstand without risking lives?
The money being collected through this levy here in Canada is NOT being distributed according to this article here dated January 2003. Not sure if this has changed since then, but I doubt it.
"At the meeting, tech industry groups are likely to point out that the CPCC has not yet distributed a cent of the millions it has collected in fees over the years to musicians.
Since 1999, the CPCC has collected more than CN$28 million in copyright compensation fees. It expects to collect more than CN$100 million in levies next year. "
So somebody somewhere is racking up a lot of interest payments on the musicians money, I wonder if they'll see that too?.
"The CPCC is poised to begin making payments in 2003," a statement from the organization reads.
I've seen this before. You receive some rather neat toy from your distributor for selling X widgets during their promotion. Said toy is rare and unusual and sought after. Boss takes said toy and sells it in the store as a 'Collectors Item' for pure profit.
You might want to rethink that after you've pawned your tv and are digging in KFC's dumpster for food once the debt there has killed any chance of you having an income.
But I think it should be YOU contacting THEM (Right around dinner time? =).

This is the method in which mad cow disease is spread. Although it's not a parasite, it's spread by feeding carrier animals (ground up sheep for example) to cows. Works the same for parasites.
Simply because fixing bugs is boring and often tedious. Not many people get their kicks bug fixing. Writing new features is much more appealing since it is a) new and b) makes Open Source Project X that much more comparable to Closed Source Project Y
So new features are added first because they are fun and increase product visibility. Bugs often take a back seat due to the drudgery associated with them.
It's both, stores hate taking back opened software since their distributor usually hate it even more. I would imagine if you went high enough up the distribution chain someone would take it back if were diligent enough to hunt down said person. But to most people the hassle isn't worth the price of the software.
It's common practice for a select group of people to go buy the software, take it home, copy it then return it to the store for a refund. I used to run into these people all the time when I worked selling computer games. We would only take back defectives (which we would verify) if the box was opened. Cut down dramatically on our returned software.
Well with the other recent numbers that they have pushed upon us I refuse to take anything they say at face value. Perhaps the realheadline reads something like
Music Biz Predicts 6% Decline in '03.
6 = -35
That should get them enough to buy a few more congresscritters.
"Have you ever watched Star Wars and been amazed that Human beings could understand what R2D2 is saying?"
Uhmm... No.
And hell .. you'll already have the lights out.

And it better not be (WTC++)
How many jumbo jets strikes can it withstand?
Hopefully more than 1.

I bet it will be delivered by the flying pig too.

None of which you get.
I'm sure that happens all the time elsewhere too.

I'll second that, I have 2 of these 'foot mice' as I have heard them referred to and I wish they had a model that was optical and had a wheel on it.
How many tacos would this be worth?
The winner..
You just need patience to determine that party, then it will appear you had profound insight!
Mozilla worked fine for me, but the price on the page is listed at $399.99, but they have no stock currently so you can't order one if you wanted to.
Hmm so that's 1/65535th of a volkswagon beetle?
And it holds how many libraires of congress?
Give us some useful measurments here!
George Forman will be all over this!

This should be easy to implement, just track the evil bits and you'll have access to all the information on the bad guys.
It only sends out evil bits!
Don't worry, they'll call you and ask if you want to sign up!

There are other alternatives to DeBeers as well

Coke humans can be quite strong, however they are usually very paranoid and perpetually broke.
(Character balancing)
The Pepsi ogres being not as strong are usually well funded allowing better resource allocation and dispersal.
It would be an intersting match alright!
