    Fixed your spelling for you.

People would be better of with less taxes so that they could buy these things rather than giving the money to the gov't to get it back as subsidies.

Which is why there is continued mumbling about a 'line item veto' which would allow the President to veto riders on a bill which don't really belong and which wouldn't pass congress on their own. The main reason it never happens is because the Congress wants to keep the ability for 'pork' on bills (why don't they just call it spam?) so that they can get funding or whatever for their particular neck of the woods that the rest of the nation really doesn't care about.

One Use I could see for this (maybe) is with an rss feed or newsgroup reader. You could have each topic in the rss feed open in a seperate tab. For a newsgroup, you could get each thread in a seperate tab.

But for regular email? I don't open multiple email windows in thunderbird and never really had a desire to. So why would I need tabs?

I know that in Germany for instance, not every kid goes to "high school" which is the track for going to the university. Many kids go to other schools where they focus on learning a trade. Are these surveys comparing all American kids to all European kids - or just those likely to go to University?
