Now someone pass this on to squaresoft...Why they won't allow you to skip the 5 minute spell-casting screens...How many times do I need to see Knights of the Round??? Once!
You're dead on about these damn things not being very tolerant..we've got a couple of them here, and they are easy to use, but just *don't* try to port scan 'em...they'll reboot!
There good for internal firewalls that are protecting "less used" assets, but for an all out firewall for a 100 user network, it's plain suck.
just make them return any product BEFORE you issue a refund. This cuts out around 80% of the fraud.
For example, I sell playstation games, and have this types of returns all the time..."The games won't play, the screen is all fuzzy" Now, I *know* they do because I tested before I sent... but when I request that they send them back before I refund the money, most of the time they won't bother sending the game back...so I don't have to refund diddly-squat.
I think another HeadGames game beat it for the lowest score...
Extreme Swamp Buggy Racing (or something like that). I remember the reviewer breaking down in tears during the review...since as part of being a reviewer he *had* to play all the way through the game:)
Poor guy. But then, maybe it was the Vede, so forget it.
Try using Terminal Services and a Canon ImageCLASS printer...if you print to the printer, 8 out of 10 times the server will blue screen with a memory exception and force a reboot.
There's absolutely NO reason a print driver should be allowed to crash a system.
get them to click on the start button and tell you what it says on the left hand side of the bar. This won't let you differentate between win98 and win98se but it will work for all other windows OSs. (except winxp, then you ask if their start button is god-awful green and there are teletubbies on their desktop)
Still though, you have to admit that Nintendo is doing more with their old catalog than almost any other catalog...
NES-->GBA re-releases, Animal Crossing Mini-games, the e-Reader selection of classic games
That's why their so hard on piracy...which is fine with me, it's still their games that they developed and as long as they still provide access to them that's GREAT! (especially when the add new features to old games)
For ps2 games, they could switch to those new TDK "Armor plated" DVDs...Supposedly you can write on them with a sharie marker and still be able to read the data...(I would assume you'd have to find some way to remove the sharpie ink first, but still)...

Which one though? McGee's bloody one or the original text (with pretty pictures) one?

.99c now at pawn shops.
Apparently, you never bought mario party
I've probably broken 5 controllers because of that game. Glad there only

in HOTD2...when getting chased by a zombie a girl hollers out "Don't come. Don't come!"
Boy, where are my mod points today...

Worst NES ending...1942.
You play and play and play, until you finally beat the last 10 out of 100 or so stages (and if you die in stage 100, you restart at stage 90).
And what do you get?
C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S
and that's it.
Steven V.
Not if you play poker, against other players. Much more skill based than crap blackjack.
Of course, you're still paying the vig to the house, but that can be easily made up by a large enough pool of suckers.

You know of one better in the US?
Didn't think so.
About the only thing left is to cough up $12 bux a year for PC gamer (solo edition). Get it for around half that off of ebay.
Steven V.
Um, wouldn't super mario sunshine (i.e. mario 64 redux) be it?
Steven V.
No way, if you're going to mention 3D0, how can you leave out the crapfest army men series???

Better yet...just be tense the entire time, squint your eyes closed, and SCREAM every answer to the questions.
See if you can break the stylus off the machine.

somewhat easier for next time.

Im-friggin-possible!

I wholeheartedly agree with you on this point. There's really no reason why GC can't follow Xbox and PS2 with a $20 line of games.
No, wait, i forget the more expensive GC mandantory licensing is what does it
I know I'd pick up Pikmin and Luigi's mansion at that price, but $29.99 is just too high.

You're new here aren't you?
No...
I use exchange. That's why.

but avatar...i'm hungry! /me picks up glass sword (recently stolen from some random bedroom furniture), and swings high.
"Shut up Iolo"
That game was so cool.
Steven V.
That would be ghost multicast edition, or Imagecast.
or if it was really really old, netware 3.11 booting from a bootrom!
dood,
that's why they call it a "box"!
