    The firewall I use (an old Webramp 700s) allows blocking web sites based on domain name, doubleclick.com (and it's variations) were the first domains I added.

    I suspect many firewalls offer the same feature.

    The foundation of trickle down economics is based on the naive belief that new tax breaks given to the rich will be spent in ways that help the stupid working bastards subsidizing the deal.

    Trickle Down Economics may actually work, but the key word here is "trickle". Now, if they could come up with "Gush Down Economics", I'd be happy.

    were awarded a contract to expand the seismic network used to do nuclear testban treaty verification, in competition with a company I do business with. Unfortunately, they were planning to use our equipment, apparently not realizing that we weren't going to produce the equipment unless we got the whole support contract. In the end I heard it turned into a real cluster-fuck.

    CenturyTel didn't send me anything like that for DSL service, and there isn't a copy on their website, although they do have the info for dial-up service online. Maybe ignorance is bliss?
