The original was fantastic. The ringworld idea was executed very well, and everything tied together to make a really fun game, great multiplay and good coop.
When they tried to engineer fun is one of the many mistakes. Halo 2 had alot of problems too.
I want to hear what John Carmack thinks about this.
Does he agree/disagree and why?
I always like seeing two giants in the industry debate on high level topics. It gives some insight into trends... and I just plain dig gaming anyway...
Wow, I would really like to see Carmack work in the cgi industry with some of these guys. Everything he works on is generally next level, even if the concept flops.
Gives me chills thinking about a dream team making a movie or a game or something.
What is Amazon the mafia? They are directly going against their vision statement.
"Our vision is to be earth's most customer centric company; to build a place where people can come to find and discover anything they might want to buy online." Sure.
Unless Amazon pulls a 180, I'm going to stop buying from them.
This will not hold up in court. It'd be like windows suing people for making programs for windows, that use up resources.
WoW is just another shell that this guy has programed for, and they are pissy cause it automates certain things. As far as I'm concerned someone should be free to do whatever they want, with the game they buy, and the account they pay for. People aren't exploiting people, they are automating their characters.
Nonsense. All testing is done by capable and brilliant scientists, now back to my experiment.
Uh, it's probably not a problem, probably, but I'm showing a small discrepancy
in... well, no, it's well within acceptable bounds again. Sustaining
sequence.
Gordon Freeman was on hand to take care of things.

The biggest mistake I think was not stopping.
Space could be very big.

A really positive spin on the whole thing.
Apparently you've never heard of 4chan.

Are these two friends now that MS has disbanded xp?
MOD PARENT UP.
This is very very important.
The value of the vote just isn't what it used to be.
I'd say we're just looking over their files, for their own protection.
Really though it's kind of part of the job to a certain extent, ethically of course.
Huzzah!

The mozilla.com site hasn't even posted FF3... only rc3 is out.
Epic fail.
Grid is an amazing game. I'm usually not into racing games... this game though is fantastic.
Reviewers are saying it's like going to dinner with a supermodel only to discover she's also as witty as a stand-up comic.
Thats no moon...
Oh wait.
Any cypher made by man can be broken by man.
"Nothing like drinkin and drivin."
Seriously though.... usual fud. I like rockstar's reply.

Good news is, this could usher in a new age of science. Bad news is it could kill us all.

According to Vinge it'll happen before 2030.
We'll see.
