'listen you dimwits, here is prior art to the feature you just granted patent for. The company who applied for a patent would obviously not point it out to you. So we are doing it. Now revoke the f*&^&%n patent'

Lets not get into the story how the whole notion of patents is absurd.

So the artists have a somewhat fair distribution channel. They yet need to market themselves to make for people to download them and make a buck. And how would they do that? Lets also assume they have cheap means of recording their music - some software perhaps.

Thank you. I get a lot of advice about staying off carbs and running at the same time. It is almost impossible to convince those people that you actually need carbs if you are physically active. I have been doing weights and doing cardio. So for me, my diet has to have a proper balance of proteins and carbs(along with the other stuff) - and not a carb-free diet.

You mean like the pope? He visits India which is the founding land of several religions and his speech can be summarized by the following sentence. "Let the evangelisation begin!" When a religion counts its greatness in being able to convert others (or offers charity in exchange for conversion aka Missionaries of charities and others operating in Asia/Africa) and not respect other religions/ways of life it can't be a religion.

    Sorry,
I think you misunderstood my message. The stuff about conservation was an aside. The thing is with fixed prices, the ontario govt will have to continue to subsidise the power for all users and continue to run up the deficit or bring the surplus down (the deficit/surplus situation seems to change day-by-day). However, by fixing the cost for the end-consumer, the govt. is letting the consumer off the hook for some irresponsible spending for it is the govt. who will have to pay extra.
