    I went to a tech school, I did improve myself and I didn't need a 4, 6 or 8 year degree to do so, and I didn't put myself in the poorhouse to get there.

    Society has been pushing a bunch of kids (and their parents) who have no business being there. A large chunk of these kids would be better off in a vocational field.

    widespread devastation? you may want to read the latest reports concerning on the oil leak... apparently (as with global warming) it may have been blown out of proportion cause they can't seem to find the oil...

    As shown by this guy, weather stations are positioned next to asphalt parking lots and air conditioner units which produce an unnaturally high reading. So until these monitors are placed elsewhere we will be getting reading that can be several degrees higher than the actual temperature, which will skew the results upwards.

    So there may actually be man made global warming, but the man made part is the data...

    do you have to be an auto mechanic? no, but you do have to take a drivers test to show you are proficient enough to drive a 2 ton chunk of metal around safely.

    do you have to be a lawyer? no, but you have to at least be responsible enough to show up & follow instructions.

    do you have to be a architect? no, but you do have to be responsible to perform maintenance & upkeep your house.

    and to top it off... the vast number of people don't care about being tracked. if they did, facebook would be a complete failure after news of private info being let loose.

    Then do it... if using firefox go to tools->options->privacy-> and uncheck accept cookies...

    there are other plugins/methods/programs like noscript, adblock, editing host files that are there so YOU can stop them, otherwise, you can quit going to their sites.

    I play racing games on my PC, the keyboard works just fine... its as good as a gamepad on a console

    RTS & Puzzle Games are better using a Keyboard/Mouse, basically any game where you have to click on an area on the screen a KB/M combo is superior. the only games that gamepads "might" be better are arcade games, but even then a keyboard mouse combo is just as effective
