What I find really disturbing is paragraph 34. Basically gates says that Apple controls it's OS and Hardware, choosing not to license to other OEM's. Concluding that Microsoft should be able to dominate the x86 market. Screw that.

Apple creates the technology that their software runs on, they can do whatever the hell they want. Microsoft does not create it's own PC hardware, so I fail to see the logic in his question.
Then again, he is just sidestepping the real issue. Screw the damn browser issue, it's their OS they can do what they want. Just don't let them get away with CONTROLING the bootloader!!!

Does anybody othe than me find that going OVERBOARD on the April Fools jokes is incredibly funny? I mean, the Wil/Enterprise one got me, I was acctually excited. Though i've found myself coming back for more over and over. It's great fun, it doesn't hurt anybody. If you are just going to bitch then go away, it wastes bandwidth. Yay for CmdrTaco!
What I find is annoying is that the latest OGC release (a big old hack for Counter Stike) is undetectable by everything. Unless something has changed. Can anybody GUARANTEE a cheat free server? If so i'd like to play. This goes for Action Half Life too.
What the author of the advisory was saying was that they reverse engineered AIM to make a patch which fixed the whole. But because of the DMCA they can not distribute it.

Where I work I am the second youngest. In youngest to oldest order...18 (our web designer) 19 (me, unix/win sys admin), 21 (President), 21 (Operations manager), almost 22 (Accountant, sales and marketing guy). The best thing about my job is that they were my age when they started the company, so they know what it's like to be looked down upon due to your age. I was even hired there without any experience! How is that for not being biaseed?
So your IT director may be a jerk, and very jealous. I say talk to him. Maybe he wants you to get certified or something so he feels better about keeping you on board. He may also be fearing his job being lost to you (wouldn't that be great!?) It also seems to me that he may be trying to force you out of the job indirectly. He's making you feel paranoid and uncomfortable, and you are thinking of leaving. That could be what he wants. Talk to him and get everything figured out.
BTW, don't get the wrong impression when it comes to the IT industry. There are a lot of good people out there, and if you are lucky enough you will find some people that respect you for your skills, regardless of your age.
Yep, the install CAN be a little tricky but if you read the tutorial on linuxnewbie.org it's soooo simple. My company has been using it for about a month and a half and it works flawlessly. My main reason for setting it up BTW was so I could convert our NT server into another linux server! BAM! If you have any questions i'd be happy to answer them as I wrote down the entire process for installing FP 2002 extensions on Linux with Apache. Cheers!

One thing that would hook me is if I could get regular AM/FM and XM on the same hardware. Does anybody know if this is possible.
