I am curious. What do you think is the best call center software? Should companies use open source solutions? Are they on par? Is call center software losing relevancy? Is the market dying?
To me it seems that it's a dead end to sell enterprise software that records calls since this is something that has been solved for a while now, so how the hell do these companies still make money in this market? Of course, I may have a completely wrong world-view in this regard. Enterprise sure loves paying yearly licenses just to have somebody to blame.
We just stopped buying PCs every year because you give us no reason to. Both the hardware and the software guys. Bring back 30% increases in performance between CPU generations and you'll see people buying PCs more often again.
They have a lot of paper and are pretty useless with computers. Usually the opposite from what you see in the news about Japan. They aren't that of an advanced nation if you look at the common man. So this shouldn't be a surprise. It's good that they're trying to automate some stuff but it will take some time and they will make some mistakes. Even dumb mistakes like this one.
that made the front page of that magazine? What was his name... Can't be bothered to look him up. Oculus is a fad for the foreseeable future. I can't believe that guys like Carmack and Michael Abrash bought into it, must've been paid a lot of money. There is no market adoption, everybody says wow for the first 5 minutes and then proceeds to not use it. Most people who bought one aren't using it anymore and it's siting there gathering dust. Also, most PCs aren't powerful enough to really run VR. Also, most games suck. A lot of money invested for embarrassing returns. Wonder what the consequences will be like. Hopefully some asses will get fired for these decisions.
was also a phone made by LG. Probably the best Android phone for its time. Nexus 6 was too big and after that Snapdragon 808 and 810 kept the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P from being top spot when it comes for performance due to heating issues and being generally shitty SoCs. Nexus 5 from my POV was the peak of Android OS. In fact Nexus 5 could run the last version of Android 7 Nougat just fine if it wasn't for the shitty policy of providing updates for only 2 years and for the Qualcomm assholes who don't want to provide support for the still good enough SoC Snapdragon 800.
Just read their Glassdoor 1 star review: no direction, SJWs have taken over. Most people aren't engineers in an engineering company disguised as a social justice warrior.
Most likely they already have something better in house and if not, there probably is a better thing in open source world. But then again, this is Google. They'll probably shut it down next year. They probably did an acqui-hire and just needed the engineers, not the technology.
So it's only natural that the whole situation is absurd. Next thing, it gets in ISIS hands and it gets used to bomb the president of USA and Somalia to outer space where they meet the aliens that tell them that God is Putin.
I have installed windows updates and after the restart I started chrome. I noticed that the hamburger icon had changed to some other shit and when I clicked it sure enough it asked me if I wanted to activate or remove acrobat chrome plugin. Of course I told it to go fuck itself. Fuck this intrusive bullshit. Kudos to chrome at least it didn't do a silent install and warned me about the bullshit adobe was trying to pull off.
Don't let the door hit you on your way out Mayer! She's one of the worst female CEOs ever. And remembering how she appeared in magazines giving advice on mothers with young children when she had baby care in her office. Dumb bitch thought everybody is as rich as her. She failed at Google, she failed Yahoo, let's hope she doesn't get to lead any company for the rest of her laugh. She's been a disaster.

Yet? I'll give it a chance when it's at least as sandboxed as chrome.

of a company going down. Uuuu let's focus on the logo not on the actual shitty fucking product!

They just don't like being spied upon...
We are Hamasnymous! We don't forgive! We don't forget!
made by amateur 17 years olds....
So it's only natural that the whole situation is absurd. Next thing, it gets in ISIS hands and it gets used to bomb the president of USA and Somalia to outer space where they meet the aliens that tell them that God is Putin.
No more abuse for corporations. h-1b is an insult to the US. No more weaseling out of this one you motherfuckers.
... is enough to get you in the news these days.
We're going down and we have no new ideas please use our shit so we don't go bankrupt.

Intel is a monopoly. They have 10 times more money than AMD. Do you really think AMD has a chance?
But history shows AMD hasn't been able to be that kick in the past 10 years.... Wait and see is my recommendation. Don't go by the hype!
We have to watch this carefully for the next months see where it leads.

like?
This looks like something Tim Cook would have released.
Who would've thought? A bad idea that doesn't sell and they drop it. The first rational decision in years at LG.
