I've always had great luck with ftp.software.umn.edu, but I can't remember if they have Mandrake or not. I used them when RedHat 7.2 was released and had a steady flow of ~90k/s (which is really good for me). ^_^
It's also possible that the brain is able to learn and retain multiple models of acceleration.
Like multiple hardware profiles? I don't know about this, my brain couldn't even switch back over to the "short hair profile" of my past when I went back to having short hair.:P
While I agree, I wish they would quit trying to "mimic" Windows. Linux != Windows. Not only do I prefer a GUI different than Win9x+, it might confuse new users as well, "This looks like Windows, can I run $favorite_application?"
But I guess it does make the transition from Windows to Linux a lot easier.:P
DragonBall tells the story of Goku and his friends, who battle against the evil Saiyan with the Namekian DragonBalls. The franchise is the basis of Cartoon Network's DragonBall Z series.
As bad as it's going to be, it could be worse if it focuses on the first half of the Dragonball Z series.
It would be much cooler to see Vegeta "with the good guys" and to see Future Trunks or at least little Trunks and Goten. I'd like to see them take on people like Buu, Bojack, or even Brolli. This would at least give the movie a "Hey, I didn't expect that!" if nothing else.
*sigh* I fear the worst. The DBZ animated movies were better than the series, but that isn't saying much (movie 9, anyone?).
Anyway, that isn't what Star Wars is, and you can't tell me you were really expecting that in the trailer/up coming movie, can you? It would be cool, but not in the Star Wars universe.
I wish that were the case at my local Best Buy. I get pounded with "May I help you? If you need any help, just ask! And we're not paid by commission either." Really? I feel like I'm at a car lot when I go there.
Er, I quit going to Best Buy actually. One word, Fry's.;)
That's the only reason I'd be interested in them. The US X-Box controller seems too bulky for me. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before there is some sort of adapter.
Apple vs. the PC. This is all very similar to the whole "Gamecube vs. X-Box vs. PS2" thing. I never really understood the whole thing because all the systems have games that I want to play, so I'm not really biased one way or the other (although Gamecube games seem to be more fun). It is the same with Apple and the PC. I like both! Why can't other people do the same? Why do we have to pick one, close our minds, and argue it to the death? Do people bashing Apple really know what they are talking about? What about the people bashing PCs? I used to hate Apple and I had no idea why. All I'm suggesting is open up a little, you may find that you can like more than one thing. I know I do.
I have Microsoft's reader application on my iPAQ, and so far it is very cool. I like the idea of having several books on something smaller than a book. I can adjust the brightness on my iPAQ, which is good for night reading. If I run into a word I'm not familer with, I highlight it and choose 'Lookup' and Encarta Pocket Dictionary does it's thing. The cool thing which I haven't tried is you can get a program to read the book to you. While I'm sure it would sound very uninteresting (monotoned/computer generated), it would be nice while on a plane or something (with headphones, of course).
According to this.
Would he lie on TV? Would he tell this story on TV (in fear of Lucasfilm/Fox)? Hrm.

Er, there goes my "great luck."
Haha! For example, moving the minimize, maximize, and close buttons to the LEFT side of the titlebar. ;P
1. *click* er..
2. *moves mouse left*
3. *click*
4. go to 1

Yes. My aim is a little off today. ;)

It's funny, I've thought the exact same thing before, but I never could word it just right. Thanks. ;)
I agree, weird stuff can happen at SXSW. I watched a movie about the Street Fighter Tournament scene, need I say more (it kicked ass though)? ;)
I thought Jesus played at Stubb's?
I never called you a troll.
:)
Indeed you didn't, and he never said you did. That is his signature. I suggest turning off signatures or turning on the seperator.

The problem is caused by XP's speech recongition system, which is turned on by default by some manufacturers.
;)
Not to be a troll, but it's actually in the article summary as well.
I think the average orbiting shuttle speed is around 18,000 mph, but I'm not real sure.
"watch-and-drool mode" is when Natalie Portman is in front of the camera. :P
Try the science non-fiction section, thanks. ;)

Are we really supposed to believe everyone in Rock N Roll is aligned with evil?
Let us be optimistic and hope they follow the path of Darth Vader and bring balance to The Force and kill the Emperor.
s/"The Force"/"the Music Industry"/
s/Emperor/"Boy Bands"/
Or "Mr. Saxaphone." ;)
Exactly! Either one person spends money on the software and 200 people copy it, or the software company lowers prices and 200 people buy it. Hmm!
...news for nerds, stuff that matters.
I think we got confused along the way.

Here is an old article discussing the above.

I am thinking HUGE. ;)
I saw "NME" and thought of Subspace and the F7 key. I guess I'm not hip either, ugh.. =X
