  1. Well, it's about time this gets some attention on Webmasters Pounce On Wiki Sandboxes · · Score: 4, Insightful

I've noticed that my blog's getting lots of spam from sites that don't seem like typical spam sites....

From what I can see, it looks like those "search ranking professionals" who "guarantee to raise your google rank in 30 days" are using blog spamming, and perhaps Wiki Spamming as a way to increase their clients ratings.

It's not about meta tags, or submitting anymore... it's spamming.

Perhaps it's time for people to finally be warry of these services. After all, can a third party really guarantee a position in another companies search index?

IMHO those services are pure evil. They either do nothing, or they do something to increase page rank... what is that "something"? How many options do they have?

If they are going to use my blog... why can't I get a cut in that business?

My school, as well as where I work both use 10Mbps connections.

Due to uplink, and most people only using the internet... no advantage for anything faster. I'll perhaps on the internal servers use up to 8Mbps.

But are they really going to use all that bandwidth? Is there 1000Mbps connectivity to the outside world? Do they have a reason for it internally?

Or is it just to make /.?

    I'm seriously curious.

I could see a physics, or comp sci dept. upgrading it's labs to Gigabit, internally. But campus wide? That strikes me as just a media stunt to sound like a good comp sci. school.

Gigabit Hotmail/and AIM? Sounds a bit excessive.

I'd bet the average connection from a dorm is under 3Mbps.

    Hours of Enjoyment

So what's the solution? Ditch the signifigant other. Then buy one of these for your computer. Now you can play games, and get everything you would from a signifigant other.

Many need a better computer, or a serious upgrade to get it all...

but hey... think there's a 'signifigant other' who will pleasure you while you play a game? I think not. But I know a certain computer that would.

And it doesn't ask you to return the favor.

And despite needing a powerful computer that can multitask well... the money you save from dinners, and jewlery... will mean better framerates, and orgasms.

    - Sound
    - Small Size, light
    - Great construction (alloy back)
    - Pretty good package of software around it.

I've been very happy with it.

And shockingly, the nearest Palm equivilant didn't have anywhere near those specs. For more money, less of a product.
