Yeah, it's going to look like an iPod, be the size of a Buick, sound like screaming banshees, and feel like rough bark toilet paper, but it will be cheap...
This is a fantastic story about the underpinnings of Pixar's people, and not the other way around. Instead of a tech article about how many TB's of storage they are using, or how much computing power it takes to render a frame, they discuss the people who have to make these movies into something special, and memorable. Sure, I could drop a gazillion dollars and buy a pixel house, but I'm pretty sure what I would produce would be the equialent of Bambi Meets Godizlla, but in 3D... hmmm that gives me an idea...
At Pixar, people come first, and these aren't ordinary people, they are the best people, and thats why Pixar is kicking butt...
I forgot what the website was, and I can't check it from work (damn you 8e6), but they had a list of what's legal in most states/counties. When home games are involved, at least in my state (Alaska) as long as you don't have a rake or house odds, freindly games at home involving money are legal.

Sklansky's is a great book. For some people it's a revalation on how to play, and also a revalation on how retarded you've been in the past.

The FM transmitters to suck, its like listening to the music with ear plugs. The best thing to do know is get a head unit with an aux input and run RCA cables to the iPod. I did this with my Sony unit, ran an RCA to 1/8 mini cord to my Belkin Mobile Power Cord and I get great sound from it. Also, which is quite nice, when you unplug it from the dock conector, it automaticly pauses. And since the mini plug is plugged in the charger, it's only one thing to connect.
You could also try to make your own center console like this guy did.

Sorry... i can't translate the Martian tongue... but i don't think it's Indian Love Call by Slim Whitman... encoding that in AAC would cause your computer to blow up, if the actual playing of it hadn't already.
If people want to know what i watch, great... I could care less, but at least there is a document on what TiVo is doing to our viewing habits (if we don't opt-out of their data collection program). I wonder though, if these cable provided DVRs have a privacy/data collection statement announced or given to the subscribers who uses these cheaper integrated devices.
Imagine if this happened with ovens and microwaves... the food industry knowing what we eat...
Lack of good music? I myself bought more Music last year than the 2 years coombined before, but last year, I also had something called money... And I don't think it has anything to do with P2P... People are broke, and parents aren't giving their kids as much an allowance.
I have to say that when I switched to a series II TiVo from my original Sony Boxed TiVo, I generally did not like the new remote. Why do I not like it?
With the sony remote, you could access ALL buttons from one hand placement, with the TiVo remote, you have to reposition your hand from the top to the bottom when switching from regular controls to the numnerical (and the clear button).
But it's biggest fault is it's symmetry. When it's dark, you sometimes can't tell which way is forward and you start fast-forwarding when you want to rewind. I can't be the only one this has happened to.
Otherwise, it's a pretty good remote, but I like my Marantz RM-2000 MkII, which just rocks.
While true, 1 bolt probably won't do much, its the remaining bolts around the do-hicky that need to tightened or checked. I remember missing a lugnut to my wheel on my truck, and I wasn't to concerned since there were 4 more, but I did replace it after I found it missing.
I hear UAF has a pretty good program. At one point, throught internet II, they had the fastest throughput in the world. But that's since been shattered many a times. Plus i've heard they want to put largert server farms on the north slope, powered by they abundant natural gas from the oil drilling for exceptional power backup availabilty, and the fact that it's not too hard to cool up there in the winter, just keeping it warm would be the problem
Gadgets are good, but not a replacement...

I like gadgets, i think they help. But they are no replacement for common sense. Use a mirror, pay attention, don't eat, hang up that cell phone, put down your book, Close your DVD player, turn down your radio, tell your girlfriend to wait till you get home.
I bought some $1 fish eye mirrors to put on my mirror...works pretty good... and will continue to work until I get my spider sense.
Is this the first time a younger kid has touched an older Jackson, and not the other way around?
Man, and you culd also turn around older MJ jokes, like Super Bowl special, bra's half off...
I could go on and on... but I won't.
Actually the Stickies improvement is that it no longer constantly writes information to the hard drive... that's been driving me crazy...
I hear the public beta of Word 2004 is fantastic

Good job Topher....
However, for the people who don't want to wait for good wireless solution, read above...

Star Wars Episode III: Give me ownership of A new Hope and I'll give it a cool name like 'Darkness Falls'"
And on a more cynical note, I do hope the lava surfing is cooler than hover boards.

you sure you want to hold out for a viMac? I hear the PicoMac is more user friendly.
Nope... an old personal gaming device by Atari

Then again Michael Dell doesn't have a PhD. And the closest any CEO comes to plumbing is jiggling the handle on the toilet.
No but they are more abundant, and generally have less teeth.
