Have you ever really tried? Sure they get ornery and wave their canes around a bit, but most of them are fairly frail and the task can be completed with ease. Sometimes they're confused and just think you're a valet - these ones will hand you the keys with a smile!

Lance Armstrong uses a room with low ppO2 for just this reason. I wonder if his hard drives last longer than mine?

well the thing about cables is that for short distances it rarely matters what you buy, but for long distances it often does - and this is the rub - long cables are already going to cost more, high quality long cables are going to cost a LOT more. Monster cables may be of decent quality (not audiophile grade or anything like that), but they tend to market towards replacing your typical 6ft radio-shack cables which really won't provide any kind of performance difference and will just cost 3-10x as much.

my dogma is to keep components as close as possible- especially for video applications, buy cheap short cables and save dough for when you really need a long cable and buy a good one.

However, if I had heard about this technology being employed in such a manner five years ago it would have directly sent shivers up my spine. i.e. when we do start seeing cameras that won't take pictures of federal buildings there will be those that argue - well, sure it's fine, but what about when when our cameras automatically sync up with the CIA? freedom is becoming a very relative privilege.

maybe you were being sarcastic? But do you really know anime fans that feed their addiction soley through pirating? Are you sure they don't have ghost in the shell posters, dragon ball z t-shirts, rare DVDs, action figures, stacks of printed manga, DVDs from netflix, and assorted packaging lying around with postage from Tokyo on it.
