  1. And for the non-XP Windows users... on Do You Have The Time? · · Score: 1

...(c'mon, I know you're out there), use AnalogX Atomic TimeSync and set it to get the time from time-b.timefreq.bldrdoc.gov. Cheap, Easy, Effective.

(Dear lord, my clock was a minute off! AAAAGH!)

  2. All programs work correctly in Windows? on Two Lackluster Reviews For LindowsOS on Wal-Mart PCs · · Score: 1
Features like 'open source' and '$150 cheaper' aren't really bonuses to most PC users, when it doesn't have the feature 'runs all my Windows programs and games just fine' implemented correctly.
Yeah, AAAALLL programs and games work just fine. That's why there aren't ANY programs like this or this or this or forums like this. Yep. Uh-huh.

  5. Not always true on Cell Phones: Japan vs. the United States · · Score: 1

Unfortunately, there are always those that get shafted. Some of them get paid well for their time (like upper management), while others (such as low-income families) need to work more to get enough money to sustain their family. In both of these cases, it means less time with the kids.

That said, work-weeks shouldn't continue to be as long as they are. With all the technology in the world, the working week should be significantly shorter.

  6. Repo! on Moon Rock Winds Up In Court · · Score: 1

Yes, but how much of this was from government-contracted repo men?

  7. Better Alternative to GameSpy on Gamespy Installer Spreads Nimda · · Score: 1

Kali -- it does dynamic list updating, it is ad-free, and they're offering free registrations now. It's a far superior game browser.

  8. Faster Checkins? on Northwest Airlines Wants Eye-Scan Check-in · · Score: 1

That's what the online check-in was supposed to be, but see how well that worked? Now online check-ins get shafted. I'd find the /. article, but, well, y'know.

  9. Stopping at the border on Canadian Government to Jam Radio Signals · · Score: 1

How large is the area they want to jam? If it crosses over the US border, well, they've got a biiig problem.

  10. Re:This is just amazing. on MAME Ported to (Chipped) Xbox · · Score: 1

Just as it's not illegal to play copies of games you own (if the original cd gets scratched, for example), it's not illegal to play arcade games you own (albeit the number of people using MAME that actually own the arcade, err, box(?) is RARE.)

  11. The REAL problem on Moby Says Techie Fans = Fewer Sales · · Score: 1

Techies don't go outside, therefore they aren't going to get reeled in by record stores. Duh.

But obviously this is no longer "natural" -- it's gene construction, a mechanical/chemical scientific process, and regardless of whether it's living or not, it's not natural.

In other words, Natural != Living
