I got it in '76 and still have it. I also have a Visible Memory video interface for it. The processor is one of the early 6502s without the ROR instruction. Around the same time I had access to a IBM 5100, a desktop with 64k RAM, 3M data cartridge drive and APL/BASIC at the flip of a switch.
That's what the ads use to say when they made vacuum tubes, big generators and major appliances. Yesterday I put a NOS Westinghouse 6U10 in a guitar amp.
This was/is standard procedure for replacing the battery-backed NVRAM on old Sparcstations. Today. unfortunately, flash/NVRAM/etc are often soldered to the board.
He can certainly take a joke and that laugh of his is totally infectious.
His voice is very distinctive. While waiting for a friend in the lobby of a Beverly Hills movie theatre I heard this voice that made me turn towards the speaker. It was Mr. Takei whose voice stood out from probably 50 feet.
I develop display software for US military aircraft. IT wants the company to switch from UNIX boxes (Suns) to Windows. Need I say it sucks? Windows screws up the case in filenames. The machines aren't set up to carry your environment from one box to another. They have to be rebooted at least every couple of days. There's so much useless crap loaded at boot that they've already consumed 300MBs of RAM before you log on. Then when they are running they're constantly probed by the mother ship. We have the blocked URLs and crappy internet access but I can live with that. They upgraded all the machines from W2K to XP but didn't bother to get compatible applications. I can't run Outlook and my Xserver at the same time. Guess which one doesn't get run? Then there's the phone system.....
It doesn't appear that they're seeking FDA approval. Without FDA approval it doesn't have to live up to its claims. A dermatologist/physician wouldn't use it. It's a novelty device.
A new TV show based on the old one which starred Martin Milner and George Maharis. The premise was they traveled RT66 in a Corvette to discover America. The new one could be two dorks on Segways doing the same thing.
Why weren't you on the MickeyDs legal team? Then you would know that McDonalds coffee burned 700 people from 1982-92 (per discovery by their own legal team). So many have opinions on this case but don't know shit about it.
Now that's exciting....
Gound Fault Circuit Interrupters? The outlets in my house don't have grounds!!!
UL is a private organization and doesn't have the authority to require recalls. That would be the domain of the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
He had no answers...
only old people can spell 'Korea'.

This is a big deal and the only reference is this story. I could find nothing else. The story doesn't answer the diversity subject. BS I say.

Good post. I think it has more to do with the sorry state of IRS technology than the size of BG's income.

Export the media on the other PC so the Windows Media Center PC can see it.
Yes, get a sex partner. Then you'll quit spending so much time with the computer.

Then it's got to be good, right?
I think I'll switch to Firefox.
I'm a retired experimentalist from LANL so there is no need to theorize. Kellog, Brown and Root does the site services.
