    Windows does run better on flaky HW such as marginal memory or memory timing. I would have thrown a different box at the problem before making the switch.

    No, a better subject would be "How Things Get Done" or "How Not To Do Things". Today, time and money is consumed by overhead; IWDs, training, waiting for approvals etc. which leaves little time and money for the actual work. Back then nearly everyone on the project was a contributor. Today it's about one in four.

    A frivolous lawsuit is one without merit. How was this a frivolous lawsuit? This suit was heard before a jury. McDonalds was represented by a excellent legal team. The jury heard arguments from both parties. The facts were found to be overwhelmingly against McDonalds and McDonalds was found liable. Still think this was frivolous?

    To do what you describe with a 68000 would take external logic that the 68000 Macs didn't have.
