    but dude,

    you are using hungarian notation, just not to the nth degree!

    clean code without having the scope part of the class/variable name would be:

    Employee employee = new Employee("Bill");
      Manager manager = new Manager("Sally", "Development Services");
    ...
      employee.setManager(manager);
    of course, it all comes down to how the rest of your team slap their code together as well, and i've always found that the convention for these sort of things doesnt matter nearly so much as everyone using the same convention.

    yep,

    and it looks like the same set of backdoors that i (unhappily) came across about 8 yrs ago now.

    the backdoor'ed ls / ps / top wouldnt report the presence of the nefarious files/programs running, so you had to dig a little deeper to work out what was going on.

    i think i worked out ls was borked, then copied a 'good' ls from another box to ~/bin/ls , then used that to work out what files had been changed/moved/backdoored.

    the .bash_history in the OP seems pretty familiar, getting in, grabbing files from another (compromised) box, then setting up & not _quite_ covering up their tracks, at least giving me an in to work out what was goin on.

    iirc, they used '...' as the directory name from /, so even with the good ls, i think i missed it the first couple of times!

    this was a long time ago ( 2.2 kernel ? ), and was on my first real job. in the end i think the root cause was either a brute force ssh attack, or one of the various buffer overflows in the older versions of bind.

    either way, it was format, reinstall time!

    but these events arent 'rallies'

    they are public speeches by the president of the country, not preaching to the converted in a single minded audience.

    what has been shown is that all attempts are made to both prevent dissenting views from being presented at the public meetings, as well as ensuring the president does not see any dissenting views.

    ahhh yes,

    the difference in perspective here is which end of the money train you're on.

    in retail/sales, its all about bringing the cash in.

    on the other end of the train, its all about being able to spend said moneys in ways that may or may not be justified.

    so, in order to ensure that the money is spent in ways that will protect/grow a feifdom within an organisation, middle managers will go to any length to ensure that future funding allocations are always on the up, so spending all of last years and crying poor in order to justify increased budget next year is very common.

    alas, it is the working stiff at the bottom who does all the bringing in, and the suits at the top ( or wanting to be there ) doing all the spending. :(

    you'll be amazed at how commonsense gets twisted, in particular when future budget/funds allocations are involved.

    this was the inevitable outcome of the imposition of the modern state of israel on the middle east. commentators of the time knew it, but still it went ahead, and still there is conflict as a result.

    the people in these camps are the displaced persons from the territories given to the modern state of israel ( by whom, and from whom is something i'll leave to the reader to discover), plus of course the refugees created when israel expanded during several wars in the ensuing years.

    a military to protect these people?

    please, it was the military of modern israel ( backed of course by USA) that lead to these people being in the permanent displaced state they are in, and it is the various state military that will keep them there for generations to come.
