Not all ISPs have to supply DSLAMs to share DSL with telcos. I work for an ISP and we sell Verizon and SBC DSL. We are charged for lineshares by both companies. 10. Story about CompTIA on Which Linux Certification? · · Score: 1

Linux+ Beta was having a online seminar where the recipients would receive a free voucher to take the test a couple months ago (November I believe). I signed up for the seminar, scheduled an hour off of work to watch it, and was scheduling off time to redeem it. 3 days before the seminar happened, another letter was sent saying they had chosen a webcast provider who would be capable with most modern browsers. Being a Linux+ webcast, I assume I am ok running 3-4 browsers on my GUI.

The day of, they send a systems check link and tell you to log in 15 minutes early. I get home, and it is an executable URL which says they require 2000 or xp. I call Prometric and CompTIA, and they reply how sorry they are for not being able to demo to Linux users. They say a broadcast of the seminar will be available in the next few hours and vouchers will still be available to those who reply.

The next day I log in and see that it is another embedded viewer from the webcasting company that will only run on windows. I wrote them an email asking if anyone in their company knew what Linux was and I would never consider taking one of their tests.

I know SWG has 'mounts' and I have not really looked into how its Space Expansion's ships are docked etc.. but I did like in E&B how you could be identified by others by your ship hanging out in space. I only played EVE in the beta, so I don't have a full grasp of what different ships looked like or how you identify people other than clicking on them, but I will always like space type MMORPGs that allow you to have customizable and recognizable ships that could inspire fear or well-being. Being under attack and seeing a long time friend where you happened to warp to etc.. and knowing they have your back.

I know SWG has ships now that I no longer play it but are there any other games where you have a ship for most of the game and can walk around outside of it for the other times?

RTS games are a challenge in skill, strategy and speed, FPS the same. RPG is all about exploring, gathering information, and hitting a button. You can't 'master' this game solo, kill all the mobs solo, so why bother with it if you don't intend to have fun with the most dynamic aspect of it, your fellow players?

Trading was good profit for a beginner, but selling looted items made warriors 10x richer than any trader. Traders who built wanted items were also loaded. Miners who hoarded the minerals needed for high level ammo and weapons also made out quite nicely. Trade route XP was the only reason you 'needed' to be a space trucker, money was easily available from other avenues. As for selling crafted goods to NPCs, that would have been a huge loss. It barely covered the cost of manufacturing the parts to make the whole.
