Before some tinfoil hat wearing person comes along and says that Mobil/Exxon or BP will never permit anything better to replace oil, you can be pretty sure that if there is indeed a better substitute (be it grass, hydrogen, or otherwise), you'll be buying Exxon or BP brand grass pellets (or whatever else comes along).
XM Radio'schannel 52 - Unsigned, has places for you to submit your music to them to be played. They just announced a record quarter and have around 3.8 million subscribers.
...this is something that businesses want (ones that already control your computing environment, like at work), and I really don't see it being aimed at the typical consumer. I would also say that there will always be a market for open computers. The market always has ways around this.
Once you have one degree, more won't make a huge difference, if any. Experience is what counts most, after the first BA or BS. If you still want to pursue this, do it on your company's dime. A lot of corporations will pay for this kind of thing if it's related to your job.
Anyone know if they plan on fixing the memory leak in Firefox 1.0? I've even used this fix, and Firefox continues to gobble up memory. I don't use tabs, but multiple windows.
Boeing and Airbus have different philosophies regarding air travel. Airbus sees big planes going hub to hub, while Boeing envisions smaller planes going point to point. With more point to point travel, you can avoid so called mega hubs such as Chicago O'Hare and Atlanta.
It's also to important to note that Southwest Airlines is one of the more profitable airlines today, and they run a mostly point to point network. Guess which system the legacies run?

You could get one of those NTN Bar Trivia setups going, but I don't know how much those would be. I bet you would sell a lot of drinks (people like to sit around and play), and they are fun. You could run your contest over that system, and keep it around when you are done.
I haven't read the books before, but I saw the series on Sci-Fi (how could you not, they only advertised it 1,000 times), and while I'm sure the books were butchered, I now have an incentive to read them. I found the mini series was somewhat decent and enjoyable.
When you use these machines, you no longer have to wait in line and goto the counter to mail anything that weighs over 16oz; you can mail items up to 70lbs without ever having to see a postal clerk. I suspect its to keep people from mailing things that they shouldn't.
When I used to have Nextel, whenver I'd get near a GFCI outlet (those ones with test/reset buttons), it would trip. You could also hear your phone communicate before it rang on any speaker within a 10 feet radius, or see CRT monitors flicker. I hope they study this very carefully, but even with the safety concerns, I don't want to deal with cell phone users in flight.
. . . and you can find them at just about any internet forum for specific products.

They actually have devices which can make 4GB backups on VHS, and it was even on Slashdot in 1998. The comments are gone, but I seem to remember that it didn't work very well.
...that we are in this mess because the government decided to meddle a long time ago, and there are no easy answers.

PSPVideo9 converts any kind of video file to PSP format, making it a great dual purpose device.

They say they are entitled to trebledamages. Next thing they'll be asking for bass damages.

I remember seeing/hearing this speech by Michael Greene in 2002. I suspect we'll hear the same this year, should you be watching the Oscars.

I'd like to see Peter David's excellent New Frontier Star Trek book series brought to life on the small screen.
Haven't we learned anything from the new Battlestar Galactica?
From tsunami to Kyoto not impacting the environment at all to dropping emissions, to overblown disaster movies, scientists resigning various environmental organizations, and other speeches. People are even connecting the environment to the tsunamis, which have nothing to do with the environment, and everything to do with Earthquakes that are going to happen anyway. Lets get some perspective here.
With possible patent abuse, and substandard sound cards, no thanks.

Remember, this is the same Belkin which randomly tried to sell you Censorware.

...do we still hate Circuit City over the DIVX debacle, or can we forgive them now?
