That's right. This one falls squarely on the shoulders of those damn democrats. All the hippie pot-smokin' draft dodgin' liberalism got us into this mess.
A little less weed and a lot more networkin' and ya might just have your online co-op mode.
I say, vote libertarian.;)
(Nevermind that libertarians want to legalize drugs and treat it as a health problem and not a crime...)
I don't even own an XBox.:P If I did, I wouldn't buy any games for it. Political issues. Buy it, hack it.;) (No, I'm not talking about stealing games either...)
I would gladly contribute to such a slashdotting, but if, and ONLY if syncML support is included. It is utterly pointless for me to get a PDA that can't sync with my computers. I should be able to use a standard calendaring and contact piece of software and sync with the unit, preferably via bluetooth, which isn't bundled with the unit (granted, it could be added).
Otherwise, it's not worth the money. I'm still waiting for my 3g linux phone with bluetooth.
It'll never happen.:( I'm stuck with another 1 1/2 years on my contract with sprint too.
I have a question for those interested in FreeBSD documentation:
Let's say you have a production environment running FreeBSD 5.x (I know, boo, hiss, only -RELEASE, not -STABLE...blah blah blah), and with the upcoming release of 5.3-STABLE (my understanding anyway), how would you recommend a minimal downtime upgrade?
I have 2 nameservers running the stock Bind8, 2 MX's running stock sendmail. One 'users' box running Sendmail with spamassassin and spamassassin milter, along with apache2 and squirrelmail for webmail.
None of these boxes have the full sources installed, and in the past I've taken the boxes down and done a binary upgrade from CD. Is this the fastest method?
There are huge amounts of problems with real-time sports games that require quick, split-second judgements. Most online games now rely on a peer-to-peer game-state. Two consoles, running the same game and occassionaly checking to make sure they're reading the same 'story'. If a divergence in the gameplay is detected, the game drops.
It would require a huge rewrite, running the game server side, and the console only running clients.
Wrong topic. Wrong ideaology. I'm not sure where you get the idea that Libertarians nly care about their own property rights but....erm, okay.
What's done is done (so far as I'm aware, is there some outstanding battle to get back land?), so as my wife loves to keep telling me, don't try to do the absurd to attempt to undo something that can't be undone.
I grew up in a home where I had a stepmother that expected the insane to simply make a point when I'd done something incorrect that couldn't be 'fixed'. Used the wrong spoon to stir dinner? Pull out the correct one and dirty it too. That sort of stupidity.
We're not the ones that took land away from the native americans. Our forefathers did, yes. The native americans of today aren't the ones that had the land taken away. We cannot reasonably undo what has been done.
Whomever you are, whatever partisanship you claim, whatever your agenda, to hold over everyone else's heads a crime that was perpetrated over a century ago...the words escape me to describe it.
As am I. My name servers here are running 5.2.1, which are Bind 8.x. Granted, I'm longing for 9.x so I can use the new commands to block off Verisign's SiteFinder BS.
I don't think my named.conf or db files need to change for the newer version....can anyone give me a brief summary of what to expect when I rebuild my name servers and fire up my old config?
I have a powerbook that uses the Plasma Tunnel Screensaver. It's an OpenGL tunnel...that never ends. It's swirls, changes color, moves this way and that...
Anyway, my fiancee at the time (now wife) brough her cat into the relationship before we got our second one, and her cat hates me. Well, one day I left my Powerbook on the floor and forgot about it. We left the house, came back to find the cat staring VERY intently at the laptop screen. Ducking, dodging, moving forward, moving backward...
She was trying to see where the tunnel went! Holy cow I about died. I've since set it up on my iMac as well. It's hilarious. One of these days she'll find out what's at the other end.;)
another slashdot spamming script.

Goood lord.
Anyway, any step toward sanity is a good one, however embracing a license isn't enough for me to start singing around a campfire with them.
Stop suing your customers, then perhaps we'll talk.
BTW, link 'o the day. CmdrTaco on TechTV!

I don't even own an XBox.
....it's good to play together....
erm...your venus?
Arr...where's the .torrent link mateys? :)
Seriously, I TRY to pay attention to my friends, familiy, WIFE, when I'm in a public place with a television. I really do.
It doesn't matter how horrendous the show that's on is either. If it's there, I zone in on it.
Finally, an escape!
This is an FCC Search and Destroy Vessel, stop your bluetooth spamming, or we will be forced to drop the f***in hammer!
Oh, that tears it, drop the f***in hammer!
How obvious. Real men vote for Badnarik you insensitive clods!
ESPN r00lz u d00d!
Heeey...you're right. :P

But um...that card won't let me talk on the phone.

There are technical limitations as well.

I don't see that happening soon.

But you probably already knew that, didn't you? Complains that there's no support for WMV3. Yay.
Movie Here
Tried opening it in Windows Media Player for OSX, and MPlayer with no love.
Anyone?
Say hello to my leetle friend!
I mean, is it too much to hope that Badnarik could win a state? Or two? or 50? :P
Woohoo! 3D console that can do 2D well! Yay!
Hey...portable NFL2Kx.....gimme gimme gimme!
Say huh?

You can set all articles to appear in your main page if you so request it to in your preferences. FYI.
I run an ISP, and I use Bind.
Anyone have a good link on how to implement these blocks? I'll pass it around to my colleagues at the other local ISP's here in St. Louis...
