I hear you. How about the fact that is is AGONIZINGLY slow. Even the latest version. It takes about 5 minutes to move a photo from the top of a big album to the bottom.
I disagree with your assertation that more experienced programmers are better programmers. I read in one of the software/proj management books (I can't remember which one - Mythical Man Month? Peopleware?) that the best programmers are an order of magnitude better than average programmer, and that holds regardless of experience. I've found that to be true. If you are doing a task that has already been done once in the past, I'd agree that the experienced guy is better; he's seen it before. But with a new technology/project/concept/program, I don't think experience helps that much.
It's more, "We're Apple and our Mac revenues have been a little dissapointing but our iPods have been selling like gangbusters so we're going to keep doing what we believe is best to keep selling more iPods."
I don't get that. It's not very representative? Why not!? More people live in New York or California than Wisconsin. Are people who live in NY or CA less important?
A Democrat wouldn't have won this time but Gore would have won last time. And why not? More people preferred him.
I don't have any numbers on this at all but I was reasonably sure that if the people who had voted for Nader in Florida had voted for Gore instead, Gore would have easily become the president. No supreme court involved. Your vote *does* make a difference.
Voting for the lesser of two evils versus the voting for candidate you truly prefer is one of the most interesting aspects of this election, IMHO.
Holy shit, look at that comment history. She doesn't have a single non-modded up comment in the past 24. To quote Real Ultimate Power, that's bragable!
OK, there has been so much noise over this I'm confused by the actual issue.
If I have multiple non-administrator NT accounts w/ passwords and GDS is running for each of the different users, can one user search the other user's docs? i.e. is the index system-wide or user-wide?
If it's system-wide, I'd say that's a security problem. Normally I can't access other's files. What about if it's an Administrator account?
A (possibly stupid) question: How does this compare to the speed of orbital rockets?
Holy shit, those women are hot! Is this stuff for real? If my life is still this pathetic in 10 years...

I think this one is even more apt. Damn I love those posters. I wonder if it would be acceptable to get one for my cube...
Damn, that was hilarious. Good show man.
But think of all the memory they saved!!

Are you kidding me? Nothing compares to the thrill of a 10 person Photoshop deathmatch!
I hope this wasn't modded up for the correction. It's *obviously* a joke.

You mean FUBAR the movie right? Just give'r!
Heh, I was thinking that as I posted it actually.
It is dying like all illegal things eventually do - speeding, jay-walking, drinking during the prohibition, etc?
John Katz? Is that you?
Block him with your vote, not your webserver!
It's remarkable how similar the comments are on this page to that one. I thought 3rd time would be a charm? Maybe AFTER the third time?

No, there were back to back ones once. Not just during April 1st either. It was amazing. Truly a day that will live in infamy.
Whoosh. Everyone can recognize that sound right?
Interesting, I didn't know about this. Do you know of any good links on the topic?

What are you wearing?

Can anyone clarify this for me?
