Many forums have a link right on the post that allows reporting of improper material. Ebay could use this feature.
I've found questionable sales, usually someone asks me "Hey, look at the deal", but when I've looked for a way to report it. Zip nothing. They did not list any contact in safeharbour for this.
Hell, it took way too much time to find the link to report the phish emails I got last year.
Yes, it will mean more overhead, but that's what it's going to take if Ebay expects people to continue to use the site. Allowing a group of moderators that can flag obvious problems will help.
Check these links for a Duo (Laptop) mod to a picture frame. I remember this site as the first I saw. I have an old 486 and a 64MB compaq flash just waiting for a conversion.

I went to finally get a new pair of glasses, after 7 years with the current set. The place I went had a computerized system with problems. When they rebooted the system they couldn't get it running. Guess what it was.
Anyone?
SCO openserver. They called it OLD & DOS.
Lucky for me I know how to boot SCO from my tech support days. So I didn't have to wait.
They were saying they had a new system to replace the "OLD DOS" one out back waiting to be installed. Hopefully it's Linux based.
1) Something to keep msblaster from killing the download of the patch that prevents msblaster from killing the download that...
2) The phone number of MS, so you call them when ever you change a piece of hardware and that stupid internet activation doesn't work any more, after only two install on the same PC.
3) No media player, Thanks eurotrash.
4) No web browser or will there be more than one, which it will load all of them just in case you couldn't make up your mind when did the install questions.
Funny, I just finished repairing mine last night, hadn't fired her up for 5-6 years and a couple of moves. Just had to re-seat the memory.
Got to love that case design and the rod to hold the hood up. Built like a tank.
Best $700.00 I got my parents to spend. I remember them asking, "Do you think this will help you with school". Let's see I passed, went to college, passed, got a job in the IT field, got a better job in the IT field, etc.
Yeah, it helped.
So thanks Mom & Dad.
And some day it'll be worth more than the $700.00 too.
AFAIK are not the menus of a DVD in XML? Then what you could do is have a Master Menu in XML that would handle getting the "real" dvd menus. Possibly patching the "ripped menus with a link back to your master menu. Most likely a remote key not a graphical menu link.
IF this could work, then you could have each ripped DVD in a dir on you array and the master menu could be accessed via a media player. Could be pretty seemless, if you get the DVD's to loop back to the master.
Since $13 bucks is only enough for a McRottens lunch, why not donate it to a fund to help against the RIAA. Slashdotters can be free to give it to whom they please. Suggestions?
Sort of gross if you need borrow a car. What about rentals?
Douglas Adams in the HHTTG books told of a civilization being wiped out from a disease caught from a dirty telephone. Even his imagination could not have dreamed up an idea like this one.
Micheal "I love Kids" Jackson, owns the songrights to all the Beatles songs. He outbid Paul M. for them back in the last century. I believe it was for 300+ million. He does not have the right to the original vocals, just the lyrics. Not sure how this works with samples since you could get both artist and song.
Any way maybe MJ needs some more money to pay off another pedo-suit
I used a small USR program that modified the drive routine that handled the error. Instead of going to track 0, thus head banging, it moved the head to track 18 the directory track. No knocking. It was a oneline program copied from a letters section of a 64 magazine. Worth finding again.
Don't get too hyper that the RIAA was off on the numbers. They can still spin doctor that a loss is occuring.
Unless you have HDTV. Doesn't the Xbox & PS2 have HDTV compatible video adapters available.

I believe that most games support 480P and a few support 1080i &/or 720P.

Duo Digital Frame by James Roos
Ask Martha Stewart.
Say a Mini-ITX low power, embedded OS on flash with a broswer & email. Modem and Ether net. TV output for my battery powered TV.
Great now you can be arrested and convicted, since we're all guilty, if we do our own oil changes?

Who Knows, will Dot marry a useless GUI or a XP worm/virus/trojan!
This is Mike the TV, saying Stay tuned!

6) Spies on your media and playing habits.
7) A more "cat" like user interface?
8) MS-tunes(TM) for your M-capsule(TM)?

Maybe Sony is not impressed with the DS and think they can delay the system and have a better system with more games to compete with the DS.

In these parts a 2fer or 2-4 is a case of beer. So do they pay you with beer to participate?
I have kids, kids who like happy happy meals.
So they eat & I eat, it's $13. If the wife eats it's $20.

Maybe George is having a laugh with the whiney prequel fans.

Actually it may be only 6 numbers, but the "hey" at the end, not "oh" like you have, can be interperted as an "8".
Let's face it AC/DC fans would and have called the number. I believe they got sued by someone in the US.
