... the slashdot effect against the webserver caused a harddrive failure which caught the computer on fire, which then burned down the observatory? We really need to mirror things!

This is a very good version of mario brothers I found earlier on today while looking for graphics for my website. Full source is included and there's an intresting story there about how someone took one of the beta's and modified the exe and attached some documents and made it shareware.

I posted a well-educated post regarding the BNetD situation and I got banned. I think blizzard loves censorship.
I work at a large grocery / general merchandise store and we have an electronics dept. We sell videogames and consoles and such. We sell 5 Gamecubes for every 1 Xbox We sell. A lot of people are tending to stay with brands they know like Nintendo, And most of the Nintendo users are younger while the PS2 and XBox Owners are Teenagers - Adults. The GameCube is a lot cheaper than the Xbox also. For the price of a Xbox you can get a GameCube with two controllers and two games. It works out nicley.

The Internet is 'virutal reality' I don't think they have the right to charge tax on it at all.
I'm sure that Microsoft will blame the delay on Unix Mailservers, while at the same time promote Exchange.
You seem to have this down pat pretty good. Any chance you're a terrorist?
Going out to a ball game is supposed to be fun, not another place to read Slashdot.
Even if it was controlled by Linux, do you think George Bush would be able to stay on top of it still and not fall? Check out my forums.
Can someone please setup a torrent of this?

Yeah, I'm pretty surprised actually!
Here's a fast mirror incase the website goes down.
Well, If you goto the web.archive.org mirror of the site you'll be able to see that it's been the same for the past few years.
And it's already down, I guess there right about that 20 second from the start to the end :)

Now instead of downloading midi's we can just ping our favorite servers and have them send back the right tones to play our favorite songs!
In the article it mentions that there working on the forth installment of Monkey Island 4. However, That's already out for PC and Playstation2.
Now if only it could shot down those AOL cd's on route to my house.
This story has been up for five minutes and I'm already getting internal server errors. Here's a Google Cache.
Ye ne'er been hearing of Captain Chan? He be having a spindle for his left hand!

.CX killed his domain name because they didn't agree with the content they had on that site.

No anecdotal. These are real statistics comming from a small store. They represent a market of a small area.
