"You only have to look at events like the Jamie Bulger killing"
Then again, part of the blame for this killing - and one which was overlooked in most of the medias reporting - is that a two year old was left to play around while his mother was shopping. A two year old? What sort of disgusting excuse for a mother lets a child who is little more than a baby, alone in a dodgy shopping centre?
Will this apply during the Olympic games, or will they miraculously come back to life then? Would be interesting if a news organization went over and did exactly what they`ll be doing during the olympics (minus filming the events, of course) a year or so early (or maybe now), and see if theres a difference in how they are treated.
Wont this just mean that you should encrypt/decrypt your data on another pc (perhaps a palm/psion handheld) and copy it onto your network machine? Or just store your private key file in an encrypted file/part of your hd?
I`d consider it if i were satisfied it was being sold at a loss. Running a Linux version of Mame on the xbox would amuse me no end. Perhaps when the xbox is cheaper - its way too expensive at the mo. I`ve just bought a GBA, so it`ll be some time before i get another console - and that`ll probably be the PS2 anyway.

I dont think anyone cares. If theres a demand for it, it`ll exist. The roms are out there, source code is free speech, what are they going to do about it exactly?

I went there and didnt get it. Just looks like a boring website to me. Certainly it didnt make me laugh, or even smile. It looks *nothing* like wto.org, which presumably is what its supposed to be a parody of. Strange. Someone has a LOT of time on their hands, and little to no sense of humour.
I heard about those. Weren`t IBM going to build them into all their HD`s? So much hot air, i guess.
Still, yes, it would be good if i could take one look at a box in the post, see the capsule and go `no, not interested. Take it back, try again, better luck next time`.
People jumping in the air, then travelling horizontally, before landing vertically down again.
Actors walking and talking in a strange, unrealistic manner.
Loud cabbage-being-snapped type sounds whenever an arm breaks.
A plot which doesnt make sense, and which can be completely ignored and not effect the enjoyment value at all.
Sorry...is this a film, or a computer game?!

If `most gamers` hadnt thought the DC sucked, there wouldnt be a problem. `Everyone i know` isnt `most gamers` - its probably about 20 or so max. Sega needed `most`, not 20.
Do not put down to humour what can be attributed to illiteracy.
I`d expect them to give me a crafty phone call, yes. Wouldnt you? What are you paying them for? To keep most people out of your house?

Cracking a passphrase is trivial.
Unfortunately, despite the hundreds of pics, its still loading in under 10 mins. Any idea how i can slow it down further?
You`re not awarded patents on the grounds of good descriptions, are you? I thought you had to apply for one.
"Sure it looks pretty. It's technically cool. It's very nice eyecandy. But useful? Hardly."
you could say the same about Quake though, couldnt you?
Useful? Yes. Put multiple windows on top of each other (slightly offset), and see them all at the same time.

that tests have shown that GUI`s are inefficient and that typing is the way forward? Isnt all this a waste of time?
Surely we now need a `Museum of shoddy half-assed software which passes junk as validly formed data`?

What, like Linux?
Although it sucks.

Its the case. Drugs in the UK are the same price as abroad. Its like food/drink. Its not much cheaper abroad but you get much higher quality.

You`d be better of getting a qualification in marketing! The hard works already been done - the technology is inside just about every European phone.

Well, if it helps take your mind off Nick Masons pedestrian drumming, its got to be a good thing.
"almost certainly"? How scientific.
