When AMD had the #2 product, no problem. Intel won every deal.
Now that AMD clearly have a better product, why are they not winning?! They loose events after events, OEMs after OEMs. Apple, Dell, Quakecon for starters. They can't just rely on enthusiasts.
CS majors are smart people, but the US economy is dying for innovating marketing and business people to help them resell existing shit.
The only time I have seen US CS majors gain immediate value is when they go abroad. There are plenty of companies in China, India, HK, Canada, Australia that would love to get their hands on top CS majors from the US.
Try getting rid of cookies on a daily basis. I know of at least 2 people who used the "saved password" feature in IE6, and had their password stolen. I tell them to first use Firefox. Then I tell them to never save anything. Leave the smallest cookie/cache possible. Delete at will.
Fuck you. The fact that you bring up TCP/IP at all is a joke. Games just advertise it that way since that is the term most 56k-noobs like you are associated with. Most games actually locks to UDP since it handles the better drop packets and doesn't waste time resending the lost packets.
Have you ever hosted a server for games thru your own firewall and config hardwork? Probably not! Since all your life savings allow is a 56k line, you should be the last person to tell me dick.
Basically you're too cheap to get a real connection, so don't tell me how to host. Until you have monitored other slow 56k laggers slowing down a perfectly good game, don't be calling me or any slashdotters unintelligent.
For those who truly plan Online games... there is no such thing as plenty. Not to mention the server is always slowed down by that 1 guy on a 56k modem anyways.
It's not our fault you prefer the never-changing BSD and the 1-button MAC mouse. With the second highest install base in the world, you're bound to get breached.

All these talk and web reviews are pointless until all 3 systems have gone through 1 Christmas season together.
There are so many people confused by whether Firefox is not Mozilla or it is!? Even when I go to firefox.com, it is routed to Mozilla.com.
There was always the Mozilla browser 1.4 previously on solaris/windows.... which I never considered to be as good as Firefox 1.0 linux/windows. But it's all the same shit nowadays. WTF is going on. Is Mozilla capitalizing on Firefox development? These websites aren't making it easy in disguise.
If Macs last longer is because there is never a need to upgrade it for games. It's just a box built to connect to the internet and connect to mp3 players literally.
It also shows that Sony charging you $70 for a keyboard is complete BS. There is nothing special about it. As I have always been able to plug a regular USB keyboard into the PS2 anyways.
Tell me about it. M$ is the absolute worst example for the industry. When a trillion dollar corp can engineer half ass, and rely on patches and developers network subscriptions for profit, no wonder people see no future in CS. You create the impression that it is impossible to build a perfect OS even with trillions in the bank.
All their sequel efforts were spent in Megaman, Ducktails on NES. Perhaps the future development of Street Fighter, Final Fight has something to do with eating up resources also.
The Guild War model would be a success giving the fact that they plan on releasing Addons after Addons after Addons. I have no problem buying massive $20 Addons versus $15 monthly fee.
This OS is seriously lacking attention in the company. The patch scene is an absolute mess. Every Hp industrial strength box I have seen takes 1 hour to reboot.
It doesn't do high end nearly as well as Aix, it doesn't do low end as well as Linux. And most would agree Solaris is better in the middle.
It comes down to who's directing. Terminator and Aliens was good because James Cameron was picky beyond belief. He wanted every detail perfect or close to it. Who's sitting in this director chair now.
It has to do with the average age of politicans from 40 to 60. The majority in this demographics fear high tech, don't want nothing to do with it, don't understand it. Their view of video game is skewed.
This game had by far the worst Art. You have the hottest, arguably the most supreme combat vehicle of all time in Sophia.

Yet Sunsoft put a giant beast on the cover. The ugliest one with a sniper rifle target. There is no sniper rifle in the game.

LMAO this is too creative. ROFLMAO at less propaganda and fanboycentric.

They should make a "Time Traveling" MMORPG. That way you combine the
best of the past... knights and medieval garbage
best of present... WWII, Bush wars
best of the future... military cyborgs.

Daylight savings is still messed up. The peak sunlight hours is noon to about 5pm.
It should shift 3 hrs back, so that the peak sunlight hours are 3pm to 8pm. More people can use sunlight late in the day, including farmers.

I'd be happy if firefox can just fix the CPU hammering/memory leak with Flash by 2.0.
China's unemployment rate raised 50% this morning due to this bug.

Exec: We need to make StorageTek and tape libraries our key future. What's the day after?
Employee: Saturday.
Exec: Great, I got a golfing trip.
It's a good alternative when you don't want your money with EA.
Guess I have bought my last Half life game ever. Anyways, have fun with the numbers. I know there are some creative phoneline melters on slashdot.
