I noticed Apple was mum on iTunes for 64 bit processing. Which is too bad, because I really miss having iTunes since I upgraded to WinXP 64... especially since it means using Windows Media Player (**shudder**).
I used to work in a cleanroom too. Every year, hay fever season would come, and I would try to work as long as possible in there. It was great to go in with itch eyes, runny nose, and nasal drip, only an hour or so later to be free of all symptoms. Wonderful. Man I miss the cleanroom.
Coding in cleanroom, now that elevated my geekiness factor by at least 5.
After the user click "Choose a new password" 10 times, didn't like any of them. Out of sheer frustration, they finally just selected one, about 1.2 seconds later, they wrote that password down on a post-it note. Where their new password is proudly displayed on their monitor.
There's secure, and then there's stupid. This falls into the latter. No average user will be able to remember some machine generated pword.
Years ago I bought a Minolta Dig Camera from a Brooklyn dealer via CNet. I was curious how/why they were able to price the camera a good $100 less than Fry's Electronics. Low, the camera shows up, it's the genuine article. New and US region bound.
Can someone explain how these guys operate? And whether they're as shady as many seem.
Jaimie and Adam for all those that endlessly complain about the lack of hard science and that god aweful complaint about the whole AC vs. windows down, I thought you might find this useful:
You know, before I answer any more questions there's something I wanted to say. Having received all your letters over the years, and I've spoken to many of you, and some of you have traveled... y'know... hundreds of miles to be here, I'd just like to say... GET A LIFE, will you people? I mean, for crying out loud, it's just a TV show!
BTW, my four year old daughter and I love your show. I miss the early years, before you started censoring ingredients and blurring signs, shirts, etc.

Yeah? Try it.
The installer stops you and tells you it won't install on 64 bit OSes. This may have been true with older distros, but it's not now.

I totally agree. Take Worms... loved, absolutely loved that game, but they had to make it 3D. Completely ruined the game.
I might have to dust off Worms World Party tonight... great game.
I've got an aimbot for Asteriods if anyone's interested.

Boy, and how!
That Nimoy, is a veritable cornucopia of great and memorable quotes.
I'm sure if I were Leonard, I probably could say something memorable right now.
"The bureaucracy is growing to meet the needs of the growing bureaucracy."

Or warrants.

No one cares. It's a dupe, dupes happen, get over it. While I admire your proficient use of links, get over it. Dupes happen.
