    I use ADOM at the office to keep me sane and to ease the pain from using Windows.

    It's witty, addictive, great fun and runs on pretty much on all specs.

    I'm still waiting for the OS X port, though.

    1 Imac/Ibook, used.

    Use Imovie to edit your footage.

    Plenty of good ideas and beer, and Bob Murdoch's your uncle.

    I have been using an Ibook (500MHZ, 572MB Ram) since July 2001 and have been using it as my main machine since then (I don't have a fixed abode and need to travel light). I recently started to use it to ssh into my OpenBSD box and run XFree86 on it. Connected to my 10Gb Ibook which also serves as a backup for my crucial files I wouldn't like to be without it.

    Slashdot is popular because it was one of the first. I am getting the feeling, however, that Slashdot is slwoly starting to lose its user base and that people are starting to persue alternatives.

    Slashdot's userbase is its asset. Nowhere else you have such a broad spectrum of opinions, from stupid loosers to academics.
