  1. Does money ruin a film??? on 'Matrix Revolutions' Opens Today · · Score: 1
It seems that a lot of good films are ruined instead of improved by money. It's almost like they put more into the film when money is not so involed. For example:
    • Star Wars vs. Epsiode I
    • Clerks vs. Jay & Silent Bob strike back
    • Matrix vs. Reloaded
    • Jurassic Park vs. Lost World
Just my opinion of course, but it seems that some people think that because they have a $100 million budget that they need to spend it all instead of focusing more on the story, characters, plot etc. Or maybe it's just the curse of the sequel

Right now most new releases at Best Buy are $9.99. Most if not all of these CD's have at least 10 songs on them. So for .99 (or less) a song I get a full CD with a jewel case and album art work etc. & I can rip it to my hard drive or MP3 or Ogg or IPod.

So why would I pay .99 for a song that has worse sound quality, will only play where they tell it to, comes with no liner notes or art and can not be converted to use on most of the audio devices I have?

Protien folding is how protiens are self assembled. When this assembly process goes wrong it leads to diseases like Alzheimer's. While your DNA does provide the blue print for proteins in your body the study of protein folding is not the modification of DNA.

Folding@Home seeks to understand the process of protein folding and look for a cure in places where proteins fold incorrectly.

    >Lindows? Xandros? Lycoris? Corel Linux?

I'm talking about a KDE only distro, many of these others include duplicate apps such as OpenOffice or Mozilla. I think for the standard user a distro optimized for and using only KDE could easily fit on 1 CD and have just about everything they need.
