Did you ever notice that when you change the channel during a commercial, there is a commercial on almost every other channel at the same time? Coincidence?
In your body of work, you borrow legends, myths, Gods and stories from many different mythos, and you usually bend and mold them to fit into your own tales.
My question is this, do you follow any religion or religious ideal in particular?

This pretty much shoots down this comment made by Mr. Neal.
Or is Microsoft just making sure that they secure themselves another generation of coders/admins/users?

This can only be a good thing. Maybe our high school students will learn that there is more to computers and the internet than irc leeching, AIM and Kazaa.
This guy has assembled a bunch of examples of bizarre technical illustration. There's only about 15 at the moment, but he's collecting further examples
Lets help this guy out by totally blasting his site off of the internet slashdot style.
My professor last semester would spend the whole class showing us how to work out a problem using paper and pencil, then at the end of the class, he would say,(in a heavy Jamaican accent) "Oh yeah, you can figure this out in 3 seconds using this function on the calculator." He also used to throw the term "RTFM" around alot when asked how to use the Ti calcs.
Functions on calculators should be used to save time when you understand exactly how to find the answer using a pencil.
Can a mercedes beat out a souped up rice burner in a race? Not a chance. But I would choose the mercedes over the rice burner and day. Its all about the experience.
I've never really cared much for apple products, but damn i want that watch...though there may be problems with the scroll/whatever action if the motion detector always responds to quick wrist motions:)
Don't worry, future porn sites will have quick wrist motion compensation scripted into all of their pages.:p
On a recent afternoon, an unexpected spike suggested the work of spammers using one of their favorite new weapons, the "dictionary" attack.
Upon further investigation, the spammers were not only using the new "dicionary" attack but were using the highly controversial "thesaurus" attack and the dreaded "encyclopedia" attack as well.
I have a friend who used to play diablo II. Being the resorceful guy that he is, he figured out a loophole in the game that gave him the most powerful items in the game with relative ease. So he would sit there for hours and hours amassing powerful items and selling them on ebay for anything from $5.00 to $350 a pop. He had a really lucrative business going until someone compromised battlenet and released millions of each powerful item which made the items worthless.
I think he said he made over $20,000 over the corse of one year selling virtual items.
Just think, we could ALL be playing "Water The Daisies" in a couple of years. Of course, video card needs would drop severely.
Yeah, but what if they were high polygon count, multitextured, raytraced, animated, antialiased daisies?;)
They ARE helping him. They are giving him food and shelter and have offered help in getting him and his plane home; I'd say thats pretty damn kind.

One time my boss asked me to print one of his emails, scan it, convert it into a pdf, and then email it to someone.
;)
Just because you can do something, doesn't mean that you should

It really scares me that when a new way to release massive amounts of energy is discovered, it's first implementation is to end human lives.

I seem to remember an application that can already do something like this....oh yeah, its called flash.

Actually, with the core of OSX now being unix based, its more like Macs for the Noobs and Macs for the engineers.
50,000,000 lines of code / 5,000 developers= 10,000 lines of code for each developer/
Spread that over a 3 year development cycle. Thats only 9.13242 lines of code a day per developer! How much are they getting paid? Sign me up!
I always thought is was a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.
