You have utorrent for a Mac (as do I).

I understand utorrent for Windows has the "download from beginning" which is a pretty killer feature. On my Windows machine with BitComet (don't laught) it means I can start watching after 15 seconds instead of having to wait a whole 5-15 minutes.

Windows version probably works for WINE, maybe I should use that instead.

Just because something is shiny doesn't mean it inherently has value. And far from stable, gold's price goes up and down against the dollar. For instance $4,500 of gold purchased in the early 80s is currently worth around $1000, after you take inflation into account.

If we ever live in an apocalyptic society where paper has lost all its value, I imagine a bank certificate for a shiny metal won't be worth nearly as much as maybe oil or a car or maybe a cool Master Blaster style outfit that comes with a dwarf.

From a game player's standpoint, Nintendo is a step away from dead. They've increasingly come to rely on a small number of franchises that are growing increasingly stale. Exciting new games do not come out for Nintendo.

Bully for their bottom line that they've been good attracting people who don't normally buy games to buy a Wii and then put it into their closet 6 months later.

The vast majority of movies that are created aren't based on pre-existing content. However, the movies people actually care about and go watch generally are. For instance, if you look at Slashdot's "Movie" tags, it's entirely comic books and Star Trek and Star Wars. Not much on "The Queen Of Versailles" or "The Imposter" although these are both supposed to be excellent movies.

Nothing wrong with that, but it's bizarre to complain that you want to see original content, and then not go see the original content that is easily available.
