I can't believe that the canadian government, who has been marred by countless scandels, has the balls to come out and tell canadians that they are going to simply 'fix' the copyright law? I can't believe that they would so easily show themselves as puppets of the music companies/lobbyists; especially during an election year.

I for one will vote for Stephen Harper. We seriously need to give those liberal bastards a break from power.

Sorry but "Mac fever" isn't so contageous around the world as it is in your area. The issue is not only price, but most companies have standardized with microsoft products for delivering rfp's, flows, common documents, etc. In addition, gamers do not have "mac fever" because they are not willing to pay the price for a mac, not to mention there is very little game support. Gamers push the PC industry to the next level. Why would I buy a G5 when I can spend half the money and do twice as much?

Ok, what about Steve Jobs with the 'innovation' of iTunes? That wasn't innovative, he just happend to be the person to convince the music companies to play ball. The 'ipod killer' is the same thing -- not innovative but something that was going to happen sooner or later.

It's propaganda that's why. These people are emotionally attached to the 'dream' of linux taking over microsoft. Don't get me wrong - I am a huge linux fan, but the reality is it will take years to put a dent into the microsoft market share.

I think it would be a lot cheaper to conduct a mission from earth than the moon. Think about it, how much money will it take to construct a platform on the moon? Ship materials? Fuel? How much time will this actually take?
Considering the answers above, utilizing the time and materials needed to deploy a mission from the moon will be better spent conducting a mission from earth.
That being said, the moon has become a political tool and could provoke another cold war... this time with china (they are planning on building a moon base).
