I mean it sucks for all the good people that worked for them, but they commited major crimes.
should anderson consulting, enron, martha, and many other be forgiven?
I have a hard time with this...

It was a flush with a rush.
Toilets and urinals in the King County Courthouse exploded yesterday after a worker in Metro's downtown bus tunnel mistakenly connected an air compressor to the building's water line.
As soon as hapless individuals flushed the pressurized privies, the plumbing started popping in restrooms throughout the 72-year-old building, said building services manager Bill Kemp.
"They started blowing at about 11:30 (a.m.) and it took us awhile to figure it out," he recounted."We knew it had to be air in the system but the Water Department said that was impossible."
It wasn't. The source of the problem was finally tracked to the tunnel under Third Avenue, and the errant air compressor was shut down.
But not before employees on every floor in the 10-story courthouse had stories to tell about gushing geysers in the john.
"We think we've lost about 20 to 25 toilets," said Kemp. "The porcelain is actually cracked."
Kemp said no one has admitted being hurt by the unusual blast, although several people were badly drenched. Or very surprised.
Explained Kemp, "The urinals acted more like bidets." We had other reports that people were not necessarily on the toilet but close."
"This has not exactly been a good day for Metro," he noted.

ok, SCSI is cool and fast- however it is not marketed to general pulic.
*** It's a higher standard who's taget is the server market where it can draw a more technical user base willing to pay the higher prices. I
*** IDE is very limited, but also easier to use and way cheaper.
*** Serial ATA is an itelligent combination of both that targets the way even new users would like to equip their machines to do more and be more flexible. It will be marketed to the general public and at a much cheaper price because of the collaboration of so many different companies that will mutally benefit from it's popularity.
*** In the end it will be better for everyone (the companies and the users)
*** It will also help drive a hurting industry if it ever actually becomes available!
Typical geek attitude. And anybody who can't gap their own spark plugs, and change their own timing belt shouldn't be using cars either, huh?
The target customer of a $1400 computer with a tv card is the same user that constantly has problems keeping their computer running through stupidity, not necessarily a lack of tech or mech skills.
If someone is constantly crashing their car into walls and others- destroying other peoples cars, then we have a system that removes their right to use a car.
We also have a system in place called licensing which allows us to have some faith that others are responsibly operating their equipment/machinery in a safe manner.
I also find it very interesting that when the big computer manufacturers decide that people aren't buying new machines they pull out 5 year old technology, double the price and pretend that nobody had this option before. The cards are on the shelf and anyone can walk into computer store and pick one up. Also, most hardware like this has very plain instructions to make the installation dummy proof.
and I hope that it helps, maybe not so much with the court, but with public opinion and knowledge about what's been happening to copywrite laws over the last 40 years and what's been taken away from the public domain in the process.
I also hope they post more information about the trip as they go- it looks like their coming right through chicago and I'd love to see it if they stop here.
the software requires you to finalized the disc prior to burning images on the remaining space of the cd. while finalizing the disc the table of contents is last thing written. When you copy a cd it only copies where you have actual content- this information is provided by the table of contents. When you copy 300 mgs it's faster then when you copy an entire disc, even if you do a disc copy- the software knows there is only 300 mgs of data and copys only that. So, no the image will not be duplicated.
make these out of 'real' butterflies?
