I would think such a bug would be apparent, especially if it is happing on a lot of machines, so did they acutally test the game, or were they just lazy and didn't bother to fix it?
The problem is fixed in the trunk builds, but it didn't get merged in the 1.0 release, probably because the fix was some what hackish IIRC reading. I suppose it will be in 1.1 or whateve the next version is.
Depends where you live, in Northern NJ, most of the schools are in-town public schools, so you were only going to school with the people in your town, and most likely less than 500 in most but there were a few here or there with more.
The high-school I went to was part of a regional school district composing of two high-schools and the elementary and middle school of the other township, however the high-school I went to was in-town and it probably could have saved taxpayers a whole lot of money combining the two high-schools into one.
My education there seemed alright, but like many New Jersey schools, the math dept. was severly lacking. My 9th grade Algerbra teacher sucked ass. I think the only reason they highered him was because he knew how to coach football, and the football team also sucked ass, regardless of his coaching, they always have.
For Americans to be willing to be so trusting of a government that has not been very great at protecting the rights of its citizens, seems to be unAmerican.
I wouldn't say everyone of them is willing to be so trusting, just the ignorant ones, which unfortunately may surpass the knowledgeable ones.
Apache also isn't run by Joe Average people who have a desktop from Dell or HP or Gateway. It's run by IT people who I would think are a little more into computers than Grandma down the street.
Yeah, perhaps if you have a 9200 and lower, anything else you need to use ATI worthless drivers. Have fun playing DOOM III on Linux(oh wait you can't, because the drivers suck so much).
I would say that using Linux in a car, can't be any worse than using Windows CE in a car. Personally for me, the less technology in a car, all the better.
We are always impressed with how closely fans listen to the many different sound mixes we have made for the Star Wars movies over the years. It is flattering to know that, indeed, the audience is listening. Consequently, each mix comes out differently and any changes that you hear on the all-new Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround EX tracks on the Star Wars Trilogy DVD set are deliberate creative decisions. We can confirm that there are no technical glitches as reported.
Given my choice of either Comcast or Verizon, I chose Verizon DSL and soon to be Verizon FTTP. I'd rather foot the bill knowing that the company that I'm paying money to is helping to protect me identity even if it is to also help themselves.
This should change atleast in Verizon areas, they are rolling out fiber lines and plan to over HDTV service. It should break the monopoly atleast in Internet related areas, I don't know about TV atleast not yet anyway.
They also think that they are voting directly for a particular pair of candidates, when in fact they are merely recording their preference for President and Vice President.
Indeed and there is nothing in the Constitution that compels the electors in the electoral college to vote for the candidate based on voter prefrence. So let's say voters in NJ all vote for Bush, the electors could still vote for Kerry if they wanted or they could vote for Badnarik, I wonder what color the media would have to pick for that state if they voted Libertarian or what if it was 50/50.
I have no idea why the panel that was set up to investigate the two sets of returns(in Flordia's case, notice how Flordia is always in the equation) and the other stuff from the two other states was an odd number 15, there were 8 Republican s and 7 Democrats, and to no one's surprise the Republican returns were the ones that got chosen. However, the Democrats still got something out of the deal, the military out of the south, and a Democrat in the cabinet.
I also forgot to mention that the 3.0/768k is only avaliable in Verizon "East" areas, or the ex-Bell Atlantic areas, Verizon "West" areas or ex-GTE areas can not get this yet. A good way to tell if your considered "East" or "West" is if you connect with PPPoE or DHCP respectivley. I believe when the service is offically announced West areas will also get it, something about merging billing databases is holding it up. If you are on a remote terminal you can not get the 3.0/768k regardless of your "East" or "West" status unless you use a Verizon reseller.
You know since you have 1.5 down your less than 15,000ft from the CO, you can call up and get a free upgrade to 384k up. Verizon also now offers 3.0/768k for $40 if you have the Freedom package and $44 if you don't. You have to be 11,000ft max for that though. Make sure to call billing though since only they do the upgrades.
Yeah I'm sure all those CAD programs would stop using OpenGL, I'm sure Maya would stop using OpenGL for rendering, I'm sure Apple would stop using OpenGL for their 2D effects on the desktop. Somehow I'm doubting that because John Carmack retires that OpenGL will die. Maybe OpenGL games, but just about every 3D game on OS X/Linux uses OpenGL.
The natural place where you hold the device is also the button to end a call
Yeah, that has to be my biggest bane with it, I still use my Motorola to make phone calls, you'd think though that someone would have mentioned it to them, or they could have figured it out themselves with field testing it.
Yeah sure maybe to new investors, but when I bought Novell it was at $11.25, not that it much matters, as I only bought 50 shares, and their turning a profit and staying in buisness. Red Hat went as low as $3 before shooting to over $20. Luckily, I bought Red Hat around $3 and sold at $27. SCO when they first filed their lawsuit they were trading at $.60 I could have become a millioniare in a matter of months, but that was a risky investment.
The iMac has never been a gaming machine, nor for graphic design, if you want that then you need to spring for a PowerMac. The 5200 will handle anything that Quartz throws at it though.
He was on some interview on TV awhile ago, he's always getting fined by the NBA for arguing with the refs, and shouting vugarities. Smart man though, he set up the selling of his Yahoo stock with a hedging strategy, so Yahoo could be doing good or bad and he would still be okay. He's a smart man to say the least or atleast he made smart choices.

I'm sure Dell is the only one contributing Intel's 75-80% marketshare dominance.

When you first get started it can get pretty boring, best to get into a party to do the quest, and you'll level up quicker to boot.
Yes I have, and ofcourse the student can stop the information, but by the time they find out it's too late.

Apparently there is something that went wrong with the mixing, more about it found here.
Ofcourse Lucas is quoted as saying:

Standard "rape you in the ass" fees also apply.

I said most radio stations not all, and if appears you've never listened to any NYC radio station.
Most radio today is crap and mostly commercials. There are very few stations not airing 80% commercials and 20% music.

It's been fixed in the trunk builds, so by 1.0 or whatever they are calling it (in the about section it says 0.10), it should be correct.
