Around 7 people were there, which was a pretty good turnout. We didn't have a host like a few of the other meetings. We just sat around a table and talked. There was a conversation about open-source as a whole and how it could break into the various markets more easily, which was interesting. I myself had a conversation about the PDA market. Overall, a good meeting.
The new Zelda looks much better than I thought it would be. The gameplay looks amazing! The "new look" actually doesn't even look that bad. I actually think now that the cel shading will end up making it a better game.
This is one reason (of many) I switched to Mozilla. I can't believe a non-beta browser (especially one that's been out for such a long time) can have so many vulnerabilites. But, it's Microsoft we're talking about here.
What is the point of the oQo if it doesn't have a good graphics chipset? It will only be useful for web browsing and word processing. I'd rather get a decent notebook with a Radeon 7500 Mobility. It wouldn't be much bigger than the oQo.
I think Quicktime is better than Windows Media and 1000 times better than Real. Real is very buggy, at least for me. So, I refuse to use any Real products.
I've used PayPal for over a year and it has saved me lots of time. PayPal is not a bank, it is a service used to hold and transfer money to other people. It may have some properties of a bank, but it is still not a bank.
Someone should encode it in Divx for all the Slashdotters. I might not be able to see it (not sure if I have the Sundance channel) and others might not be able to see it either.

I've heard that Episode I becomes a much better movie if you see Episode II.
In this case, EA is only going to Sony for their sports games because Sony has their online plan publicized and Nintendo doesn't.

What I really want is a cross-platform Escape Velocity MMORPG. I would definitely be addicted to it.

The real question is, what will Microsoft's apparently new file system actually do? NTFS is fine for everything that I need to do.

I'll switch to another another OS once Mac OS X gets ported to x86.
