    I realize that nobody is gonna read this, but if you have MS Office and IE installed, check out this little script over at pcmag.com

    Following the instructions gives you a javascript button that will take any selected text, paste it into Word, spell check, then ask if you want to put it back into your browser, and close Word again. It's pretty spiffy.

    hehe, check out the "New Frontier" series of books by Peter David. Not only is it a great series, 12 books strong, but it has one character who strangely resembles the original "Number One", Nurse Chapel, Lwaxana Troi, and happens to sound like the TNG computer voice... She's apparently an immortal, who keeps changing around her life when it becomes convenient...

    It's not canon, but it's a good explaination. (:

    IT actually has to do with the size of the image you're making.. the image has to be less than 75% scale or more than 150% scale from the original.

    The sysadmins where I used to work had a CD server that they were installing NT 4 on. Everytime it would get about 2/3s through the install, it would blue screen. They tried this 4 or 5 times before calling me (I just happened to know something about computers)...
    I watched it go through the motions of loading and BSODing... Opened it up, and sure enough, the processor fan wasn't turning at all. The connector to the fan had gotten unplugged.

    All of this memorial stuff is getting very overdone though...

    Where were you on Jan 26, 2001? Do you remember any news that happened that day at all?

    On that date, an earthquake hit India, leaving 13,000 people dead.

    thirteen thousand. More than four times the amount killed in the World Trade Center. Think about that for a minute. How much coverage of it did you see on CNN? Maybe a day?

    We've been hearing about this same story (Even giving it a catchy title) for an entire year now. How about a sense of perspective, folks?
