5 Insightful my ass. Grow the fuck up: There's no "global conspiracy" by what you call the "MSM" to control the population for some sort of social and economic order. There's one thing, and one thing only that motivates mainstream media: Their own personal profit. Period.

Hollywood and mainstream media are businesses. They produce the content they do for one reason only: Because it's what we demand. We don't give a flying fuck about what "real, ordinary people have to go through in the real world". We want gore, we want drama, we want sex and we want sports. And that's exactly what they give us, because that's how you make money doing business.

Everybody's always trying to find someone else to put the blame on for the world going to shit: The jews, the muslims, the immigrants, the "elite", the media, ect etc. They're all too cowardly to look in the mirror. We are a ruined, degenerate species. And if we don't wise up, gather the courage to look at ourselves for what we truly are, and collectively get our shit together real soon, we'll end-up like all other mistakes of nature ended-up: Extinct.

No they fucking don't. Whenever someone causes harm to their children, either by a deliberate act or neglect, we call it child abuse. Why would this be any different ?

I'm appaled by the number of people who still see their children as we did in barbaric times; as their personal property, to do with them as they please, with the right of life and death over them.

We are not fucking barbarians anymore. This is the 21st century. We live in a civilized society now, or at least we should be. And in civilized societies, human beings don't own other human beings. Your children are not your children, no matter what your fucking animal instincts tell you. Your children, are citizens, just like you are, with the whole gammut of basic human rights every evolved and civilized culture agrees on. They are under your care until they reach the legal age of independance. And until then, your are required, by law, and by basic human decency to provide them with the best possible care. And so is society as a whole. That's why every civilized nation has mandatory education. And also why every such nation has, or should have nationalized health care for all children.

Grow the fuck up, people. Barbarism, tribalism, social Darwinism are over. Join the civilized world.

  9. Re:Extradition is a political decision. on US Will Seek Extradition of Huawei CFO From Canada (reuters.com) · · Score: 0

The U.S. and Canada have an extradition treaty. Under that treaty, If any country emits an international arrest warrant, the other country must honor it. This is followed by a judicial hearing, where a judge will decide whether extradition to the country that emitted the warrant will be granted or not. Counsel of both parties (the country that emitted the warrant, and the defendant) will plead their cases during that hearing.

The prosecution must tell the court what accusations they intend to bring against the defendant, and the evidence they have gathered so far. Among other things, they must provide evidence that the crime the defendant is accused of is also a crime in the country where the arrest was made. They must also assure the court that if found guilty, the defendant will not be sentenced to the death penalty, if the deaf penalty doesn't exist in the country where the arrest happened. And finally, they must assure the court that the trial in the country asking for extradition will be fair, independant, and follow the Rule of Law.

On their side, the defense must cast doubt on any of the points above. If they succeed, then the judge will not grant extradition, and the defendant will be set free.

That's how extradition treaties work. That's how international law works. As others have mentionned, Venezuela and Canada don't have an extradition treaty.

Next time, I would advise you to take a few minutes to educate yourself about international law before plastering your ignorance all over the Internet, for everyone to see and wonder at.

Let's not beat around the bush: Conservatives are social darwinists. When confronted about it, not only are they not denying it, they're actually proud of it. They want social inequality. In their minds, all rich people are smart, deserving, hard working people who make smart decisions in life, and all poor people are stupid, lazy, parasitic slobs who deserve what they get. And every human being on Earth falls neatly into one of those two categories. After all, binary thinking is also a defining trait of the conservative mindset.

They ignore the possibility that some of those poor, suffering, sick people may be children who are suffering because of their parents situation. And those who acknowlege it, don't care. That's right. They don't care about children suffering and dying. To them, it's in the order of things. Children of rich, wealthy parents should reek the benefits of having been born with a silver spoon in their mouth, therefore perpetuating their parents' good genes/values. Similarly, children of poor parents should suffer and die, putting an end to their parents' bad lineage. Social darwinism.

Remember: American society wasn't built on the same principles that guide other evolved, advanced societies, it was built on one,and only one, principle: Freedom. And that includes freedom to be a heartless, cold, miserable sack of pus, and to elect one as their president.
