    I find that certain complex things are best represented as a series of tubes. Not a big truck that you can just dump something on, but a series of tubes.

    Until something replaces Coal power plants as the main method of generating electricity, you're just replacing one evil for the other.

    Yes, because a few coal plants are way less efficient than millions and millions of internal combustion engines.

    (not to mention it's a lot more efficient, as technology progresses, to upgrade emissions controls on a few power plants, than every car on the road)

    There's a decrease in the amount of increase. Clearly you need to brush up on your journalistic doublespeak.

    Actually, he compared them both to a "scale 'o evil" and theorized that we're already compalcent with the former and have proved to ignore the latter, and statistically speaking humans could probably score much higher in the future.

    So it's the "slippery slope" argument: implying that intrusive digital advertising leads to domination and irrevocable descent into the murky depths of human bondage.

    I guess that works, if you also believe that "the Matrix" was a documentary.

    Canada's Globe & Mail is reporting that scientists are currently testing a 'trauma pill' that might help the victims of rape, the battlefield and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) forget or perhaps simply never store the memories of what happened to them the way they are stored normally immediately after the traumatic event, when the brain overloads itself with stress hormones.

    Does it work for roundhouse-kick related injuries?

    (That said, 4 out of 5 doctors fail to recommend Chuck Norris as a solution to most problems. Also, 80% of doctors die unexplained, needlessly brutal deaths.)

    The reviewer states that the first season will set you back about a benjamin if you buy it on DVD. Meanwhile, a season of the Simpsons or Futurama is at most $40, and you can get it for under $30 if you are good at hunting bargains, so why is anime so much more expensive?

    I find, if you measure your purchases in hamiltons instead of benjamins, things suddenly seem a lot more affordable.
