  1. Las Vegas, will not allow this on Deathmatch for Dollars? · · Score: 1

    From the Article:

U.S. players in 11 states won't be able to wager any money due to laws against fee-based online gaming. The states are Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Nevada, Tennessee and Vermont.

So I can go to Vegas, get wasted and play craps, but can't head over the nickel quake machines? This sucks, I would much rather play some FPS than the slots that ALWAYS take my money, no matter how many rum and cokes (20/day) I've had.

I have to plug the fact that a CLI is by far the best way of opening programs, barring voice activation. With a CLI I can type "oo{TAB}{ENTER}" and office starts. With a GUI I have to find my mouse, then move it around to Foo->Bar->Foo2->OpenOffice to open something.

I just like the fact that with a CLI I can pretty much just talk to my computer, telling it to find things, or grep for things, or whatever.

I'm pretty sure that you could do something liek this now. You mention Quark as the formatter of choice, but Adobe's InDesign is far better, and works on your OS X macs too, unlike Quark. In addtion you can get InCopy, which just allows for the editing of the text in an InDesign document. I would check it out, and if they don't have exactly what you want, tell them.
