Just like reading an article comparing a Hummer with a Ford Excessive. I don't really care which one has more power and uses more gas because I have no interest in owning either of them.
I'd like to point out that complaints about the creativity of the gaming industry aren't very creative any longer. For years we've been reading the same, tired, inbred complaints that are just rehashed derivatives of complaints we've heard before. .
You're joking, right? I mean, you can't honestly watch CNN/FOX/MSNBC and think that there are any journalistic standards being applied there.
I should have saved a mod point to give you +1 funny since no one in their right mind can think there's anything worth of respect in mainstream news media.
Does this imply that if one were to split the Mentos (Mentoses?)into halves or quarters they would work better? I may need to acquire a few supplies....
Anything that has to do with exploding food always reminds me of Swedish Lemon Angels -- before all the copies of the recipe on the internet spoiled the joke. I actually passed the recipe to my sister. Apparently it had the desired effect because she still won't give me any details.:)
It is even more fun to speculate on the eBay price once all the stores are sold out of them. Even if they start going for tripple the retail price, it'll still be in the same range as a loaded PS3.
Now I just need to figure out how to get my hands on two....
So... When Nintendo first announced the Revolution with the wireless controler you can wave around, who didn't think of a light saber game? It is just a question of when -- not if.
You know you've done it. You've sitting in front of your computer or console, playing a driving sim. Without thinking, you find yourself leaning into a turn as you try to hold your line.
You're playing a FPS when suddenly, a zombie/mutant/demon/something jumps from around the corner. You instinctively duck in your chair as you jerk your char out of the way and unload a few shots.
Potentially, Nintendo has created the most intuitive, natural interface with a video game since the joystick. Well, at least it is the first new video game interface since the joystick.
Personally, I hate console games. I get bored after minutes of play and haven't purchased one since the NES (yes, the first one). Even so, I think I'll likely be getting one of these. I'm not crazy enough to camp for one, but I can see buying one. Interesting interface > same crap with better resolution.
I'd like to inform everyone that I've already patented the idea of datamining all.tel address for unsolicited emails!
Now... do I make a pile of money lisencing this out to spammers or do I make myself a/. hero by preventing them from using it?
I think the most important question at this point is: Who cares? Is there anyone who is still looking forward to this game? Anyone?
I remember playing Duke Nukem 3D, but I honestly can't remember what computer I was playing it on because it was so long ago. It isn't like there haven't been three or four generations of shooters since this game was announced.
Sure the original was amusing, but it wasn't that good. Just give it up. No matter what they finally release, it won't be worth the wait and no one will really care.
Thanks.
Although I agree with your opinion on all three of these, I believe that these are not the same level of scientific censorship as what we're seeing today. These are stupid or sloppy decisions, imho.
Just for the record, I'm not Clinton's biggest fan either.:)
Clinton was no better, no matter what the Progressives might say.
Care to offer any evidence for this statement? What scientific claims were squelched by the Administrative branch of the U.S. government while Clinton was in office?
I'm sure that you have plenty of examples are aren't just stating your personal opinion as fact. Right?
I buy all my CDs used or from the artist at live shows -- which generally gets an autograph as well. My favorite CD is the pirated on that was being sold by the artist. The record company let it go out of print, so he made his own copies and was selling the blank-label CD.
Maybe you should do a little research before posting knee-jerk reactions that do nothing but wave the ignorant-twit flag.
For the record, a whopping 2% of NPR's budget comes from government sources. That money is not given to NPR -- it comes by way of competetive grants that they apply for. My local stations get 0% of their opperating budget from government sources.
Apparently you don't know the difference between the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (government funded), the Public Broadcasting System (government funded) and National Public Radio (not government funded).
Congrats! You now score as high as Rush Limbaugh on the Accuracy of Research scale. Now go spend three minutes on Google before posting again.
Funny... that's exactly how I feel about MMORPGs: tedious, redundant kills for leveling, the pointlessly easy collecting of money -- all while hearing 12 year-olds shout: Duel me, you n00b!!!
I now find solo RPGs a breath of fresh air where I can relax and enjoy my gaming experience.
Under no circumstances can this be considered a "good thing" for US citizens. Since when did the government exist to serve and protect corporate interests rather than people?
I know.... it's a stupid question.

Nice to see that I'm on the same level as an apathetic 12 year-old in my cool-ness scale. ;)

Didn't you try Custer's Revenge or Leisure Suit Larry? Not that I'd call either of those titles "revolutionary"....
Am I the only one who ends up with Juke Box Hero going stuck in my head everytime I see the title for this game?

You never played Star Wars Galaxies, did you....

Read my post above. NPR is NOT GOVERNMENT FUNDED.
geez... is it really that complicated??
Thanks for informing the world that you're a free-loader. People like you help create the ClearChannel world we are moving toward. Good job.

You can do WHAT????
/rushes off to look for old GTA disk....
That only applies to the robots that come with the special instruction manual: "To Serve Man"
