Yea, its good, but try this: http://adblock.mozdev.org
What is it? Adblock is a content filtering plug-in for the Mozilla and Firebird browsers. It is both more robust and more precise than the built-in image blocker.
Adblock allows the user to specify filters, which remove unwanted content based on the source-address. If this sounds complicated, don't worry: it's not.
Just add a few filters. Every time a webpage loads, Adblock will intercept and disable the elements matching your filters. See?- nothing to it.

the article says only a volvo mechanic would be able to remove the bonnet... basically the whole front end. You think your mechanic will want to remove the whole front end just to replace a $5 part that would take 30 minutes, that will now take 2 hours? Of course they do get paid by the hour, so maybe it is a way of getting more shop time....
I find it interesting that below this is a story about Weighing the Value of Privacy, telling how people value their privacy, and then there is a post with a link to a site that requires registration - Ironic
My opinion, if it is still under warranty? Break the LCD too*. Hey, you'd get it replaced that way!
You could even call ahead of time and say it was broke, and if they come onsite, wait till the day they come to break it so you wouldn't be without it too long.
*Just make sure that it is indeed covered by the warranty
I think you missed his point (which wasn't entirely clear) - People can (and do) often get lost during blizzards, or even at night, and not know where they are. Onstar is able to tell emergency personnel exactly where the person is, even when the person doesn't know.
Actually, I was referring to the recent year election, not just the presidential election. Since there are elections every single year, if not twice a year. Sure the presidential election brings more, but do the non-presidential elections?
Plain and simple, the voters. How many people truthfully voted in the last election? Probably less than 30% of the registered voters. Yeah, I know it's tough to take that 15 minutes out of your hectic day, but if you don't like who is in there now, it can be changed. Unfortunately at this point, not enough people really give a damn.
A lot of cars do have a bar code next to the vin, although it probably is just for the manufacturer/dealer supply chain
I have to say the thump of an air powered pumpkin launcher is quite nice. Not the boom you desire, but the thump-whoosh sound is quite intriguing
I just ordered a copy yesterday, and I got a confirmation email saying it had shipped via 2nd day air. So they still had copies as of yesterday.
Ok, if you're going to do it, do it right:
Duke Nuken Forever
it's Duke Nukem Forever
that's slashdot, taking stupidity to a whole new level.
The original UNIVAC is now on display in the Smithsonian Institution in Washington
It may have been delivered on this date, but how long did it take to get it online?
And how do you know what realistic splatters look like?.... nevermind, I don't want to know.
probably since most distros (BSD & Linux) include BIND as their default DNS server. People are lazy.
simple solution: don't use a prybar to remove chips!
Use a big magnet or slip-joint pliers!
Lost a CD, Can't find it new,
Find it on EBaaaaay!

I've been using it on over 50 desktops, and not one problem yet. "development" doesn't always mean buggy.

nobody on slashdot ever spellchecks
