... if they did a full CD vs online album comparison. Don't you get it? Why would you buy an online album if 80% of the songs are crappy when you have to choice to select the songs that you want? This business model will die a natural death eventually.

You probably need to compare tracks purchased online from a certain CD versus the sales of the full CDs itself for a more realiable comparison but the data would be tough to come by!

I'm not aware of the history of Kerio but I think it's a derivation of the free version of Tiny Firewall cos it works pretty much the same way. It gives better granularity than other firewalls like Sygate or ZA.

  8. Re:Crystal ball gazing on Google Tracking Frequent Users · · Score: 1, Interesting

I agree that google is one of the better online tools available on the net for free.

But personally, I'd only consider paying for it if it provided some value-added services i.e. customised/saved searches with say alerts for new finds (for example).

I wouldn't pay to have the ads/sponsored-placements removed since they aren't that intrusive to begin with (and even if they do become intrusive e.g. pop-ups etc, there's always privoxy).

  9. Crystal ball gazing on Google Tracking Frequent Users · · Score: 0

Let's just pray they're not going to do what Yahoo's services to subscribers i.e. refer you to a paid advertisement page before routing you to the right page. Or it might be a nag screen to get you to subscribe to a pay service.

It could be relative to conventional power generation, or it could be "greener" since the waste doesn't need to be dumped, which will probably result in it (1) decomposing, (2) creating more greenhouse gases and (3) not being very productive as opposed to being fuel for power generation.
