    But i do want to see that message , it's just that i don't want to see it BEFORE the article discussion comes up. It's showing besides the usual place (below comments) before the article, without sense. For example, i look at the word 5.1 article:

    "'Word 5.1 is 13 years old in 2004. Many people still swear by it. Powerful features, stable application, without bloat. Nirvana by Microsoft. It's been all downhill from there...' I always thought WordPerfect 5.1 was pretty good as well. I still use it alongside my OfficeXP."

    I have this same problem with SuSe 9.1. I installed it and it killed my MBR. On my c:\ drive i have windows 98 and on d:\ i have xp. I had to install suse to the mbr in order to get xp to work, but now 98 is broken.

    If i run with 98's bootcd and i do a sys c: then i can get 98 to work, but xp fails. I don't know what to do, i will check that url

    do some development and site administration work for a high traffic porn site, and I can tell you that we've been using Hardened PHP

    I can see it now. Hardened PHP is the new "manly-patch" for 2004. Gets you "hard"!

    Some viruses are indeed enemies of each other. I always thought that the only way to fight aids was to find a virus which didn't harm the human body but was lethal to HIV. Now let's hope there is an easier way to get the new virus inserted in the body and that there isn't any colateral damage

    They actually want to make a regular computer inside the cell phone.. I actually want a cell phone that can be heard everywhere, with a nice battery and perhaps send pictures and such (which can already be done).

    Mega and all its cousins are units in BASE 10. Please accept this and move on. in 1998 the SI accepted mebi and cousins as valid units for binary measurements.

    It's true, i was taught at college that 1k=1024 bytes but it's not the case anymore. Hard drive manufacturers got what they wanted

    In the 50's in Venezuela, we had a dictator called Marcos Perez Jimenez.

    When a tunnel was built in a city, he ordered the arquitects to stand in it, and ordered 10 tanks to drive slowly above the tunnel with the crew below to see if the tunnel would hold the weight.

    I'm sure you can tell the quality of the work that was done here in that time. /me hopes Windows can reach that quality. It certainly has improved, but the user hasn't. Stupid people clicking all those .exe, .vbs and .pif files

    I tried the forktest, and renamed the forktest function to main and ran it. It displays numbers like 731 and the > tmp does about the same.

    Am i doing something wrong?

    While this may ignite another round of online advertising purchasing, this news doesn't affect anybody who uses a customized HOSTS file to stop the majority of ads from appearing anyway.

    Since mozilla displays its connection errors in modal windows instead of showing error placeholders like IE, i can't use a modified lmhosts.

    Please vote for bug 28586 to get this fixed
