Err.. well you see, all you need to do is download the executable from a known good machine or disable the Authenticity Check. It installs fine on *any* XP machine. Even pre-SP1.
Why not have a miniature version under the desk to supply charging power to small devices and give you a little workout? Imagine keeping your laptop/phone/pda/etc. all juiced up for the cost of a few calories. How many can't spare a few of those? Eh?!
Can't be new. Look at the grammar. Personally, I can't wait 'til the thing runs linux or OS X. I'll even an extra copy of OS X if it got to running just fine on there. Triple core 3.2Ghz PPC!! Man, wonder if we'll see those in the DARPA Grand Challenge next year.
Gee, if that's the case then my site could sure use a slashdotting (as long as you click on something I'm not supposed to ask you to click on) If I was making that kind of nearly free money I'd be giving a go 20% toward OSS projects.
Well, you're close. Eugene is actually very diversified. There are quite a few upper class people here. I've had to put somebody's computer in the 'trunk' of their Ferrari because of a bad back. Lots of SUV moms and business people too. Even the LUG here has a couple higher income earning folk that like to have fast computers for programming and compiling. Needless to say, I don't do just Windows boxes.:)
If you lived in Eugene, OR you would know that EVERY computer that leaves the shop I'm in has Firefox installed and set as the preferred browser. I also create a "Downloads" folder on the desktop and make it the default directory to save in to help ease desktop clutter. Add in a little Flash and they're ready for most of the web. Also, on our spec sheets we list OpenOffice as being available with the system and inform the user about it and it's cost. Many are more than willing to try it and it works fine for most. Definitely use the 1.9 branch.
"hdparm" is your friend. Perhaps they're linux n00bs. Although, this does make me curious enough to warrant a better review. HW & SW RAID, linux distros with 2.4, 2.6, and proprietary drivers like Promise's, and throw in the BSD's for a well rounded review too. Don't forget filesystems too. There's been plenty of those though with EXT3 vs Reiser vs XFS vs etc...
how is that a better link? It's still Norwegian! Who cares if it's all on one page. Who modded that guy up? So uncool. Mod the first english translation up. Sheesh.
True Story!! I tried to install Bonzi Buddy under WINE a few years ago. The machine locked hard eventually. Couldn't find all neccessary files to corrupt. Sure as heck was funny trying though.
Shimano tried that with the bicycle. There was a chainring called the "bio ring" or something of that nature. It was thought to provide more efficient pedaling with each downstroke but cyclists know the efficiency is in the clipless pedals and "spinning".
Yeah, I submitted it to Slashdot the other day because it was informative and certainly worth a few thousand geeks reading it but the Slashdot system rejected me! Slashdot is all about "in with the old and out with the new". I'm sure 6 months from now someone else will submit that same story but it'd get posted that time! Don't mind me, I'm just disgruntled.
Yeah, it's not the preppies buying them. It's the lazy kid's parents buying them! The preppies are more concerned with how they look, OTOH the rich little snob kid likes how pretty his machine is and blames his gaming skill on lag.
As a matter of fact, YES! you can finally pull ATRAC from the MD's as well. I'm looking forward to that so I can backup all my freakin' MDs without having to buy the CD. I've got a few one of a kinds that can't easily be found on CD. Supposedly Sony is/was working on software to allow conversion of ATRAC to WAV as well.

That's why they have Buster!! Have you not seen the show? That's about the only thing I miss on TV (I don't watch anything these days).

I'm sure it would be helpful if translation service didn't get SLASHDOTTED!

You obviously don't know much about Lance Armstrong. The man can do 30km/h up a freakin' hill!! I can sprint over 50km/h.
Errr... would you believe I got my .com in one shot? Actually, I only thought about 2 or 3 names and I'm happy with what I ended up with.
"Th color scheme looks good - for a online gay porn shop"
And you know this why? Horrible thing to know if you ask me.
Yes, sports minded geeks! Check out my new toy on my site. Indoor bike trainer that interfaces with the PC. Making pain more fun!

It usually has to do with the slow weekends. You can get anything geeky or MS related posted on a weekend.
I'd say "there throwing their wait around" if I were the Anonymous Coward but I'm not so I'll just get modded down for trolling instead.

We'll send a big guy named Bubba right over for you.
what about... Imagine how fast you could get first post?

What you missed is the P4 runs on a 200Mhz FSB x4. 333 x4 with an 18x multplier gets your roughly 6Ghz.
Just how often is there going to be public nudity that a geek would *want* to see though? Especially at some large outdoor carni show!
